I a democrat for border security but not a wall. I don't understand why people are being used as bargaining chips. These morons have no idea what it's like living paycheck to paycheck.

    Trump is litterly dangling amnesty as a bargening chip. But Pelosi refuses any kind of compromise. For the love of god make a fucking comprimise pelosi, 5 billion is 0.13% of the budget. Trump isn’t being unreasonable about this just give him the money or he’s going to have the millitary do it and the dems are just going to cry and complain even more if he does it.

        Actually they are masters at the long game. They refuse to give the wall, even tho many voted for it during Obama, because they want to be able to say that Trump didnt deliver on his campaign promises. It's as simple as that. Everything else be damned.

        When you have no morals and only care about your own ambitions it's easy to play games.

    I'm not a government employee, but if I was a government employee I would just be too pissed about not getting paid to care about any of the turds, and douches in the government, and who is wrong, or right.

    I don't don't care for Nancy Pelosi.

      Well, they do get paid for all the work, just not on the same pay schedule. Any employer could do this and be within the law in the U.S. You have 90 days to pay legally.

      I don't feel at all sorry for government workers. They have great benefits, retirements, can't really ever be fired and have a job for life.

      If they can't get out of paycheck to paycheck subsistence, existence with all that going for them, then it's their own fault.

    Trump is the one who started this because he didn't get his way. At the same time pelosi isn't much better then there is bitch McConnell who is the source for the problem. I don't think the government should be held hostage because trump can't have his wall anyways did he and the republicans have control of all branches of government for 2 years you can't say that the democrats were stopping him from building the wall in all that time. Trump clearly is just using the wall as a talking point because if he was serious he would have did it already(before the dems had the house). It's like when Obama had all branches and didn't do anything it's clearly stupidity on trumps part for not doing it when he had the upper hand same as Obama.

    Anyone who can say "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it." and then calls something a "non starter" before they have heard what it is, is just a partisan hack hell bent on getting only what she wants, at the expense of everything else.

    I don't see how anyone can say Trump is a stubborn ass and then support this person.
