Well depends on the circumstances. Do you mean a letter or notes you are passing in class. I wrote a lot of those as a child I use to have them sitting on the bottom of my bag. Sometimes they fell out and my parents read a few. Sadly I did not remember why I wrote many of them. I use to write so much stuff between friends that I forgot most of it. My dearest mum even kept a few and later after questioned me about it. I could not read the stupid thing since we scribbled all over the paper and I do believe most of it was innuendo. I have never once written a hand written letter. I also could not for the life of me figure out how to format a letter. Oh how they tried teaching it in class. Oh how the teachers would pull out their hair as nearly every child failed at it.
I appreciate handwritten letters but I would appreciate them in print not cursive.
I write hand-written letters all the time to my friends. However, I'd say (since all of my friends are girls) that girls write them most often. Even though mine are usually the longest and, if I do say so myself, much more elegant.
I wish I had someone to whom I could send written letters to and know that it would be appreciated. The only thing close to a letter I have written is small "notes" on cards. Saying "thank you's" and whatever present I bought from that person's gift or how much I enjoyed the gift I received. It's a shame I haven't had a chance to send a proper letter. I like hand written letters, some how there's something very personal and almost intimate about hand written letters as opposed to something that was written on the computer which can make things seem impersonal. It's like writing a letter is becoming a lost art and that;s sad.
Boys or Girls? Hm.. I guess Girls write letters the most. I've always associated writing letters more so with the Female gender than the Male one for some reason.
I'm a girl and given the chance, I'll still write a letter by hand. I love them.
Girls have always written more often, but boys' letters have always been lengthier. In fact, a very dear friend of mine once sent me a 50-page handwritten letter. I nearly cried. Well, I had to fucking read it! (To be fair, it was a beautiful and poetic document.)
