Who would you 'sacrafice'

A train is on a track. You are at the control switch, and there are two tracks the train can go on. One has a full train carrage full of innocent people, and on the other track is a man who is trying to fix the track, but it is his fault that the train is running down the rack in the first place. BUT... next to you is an innocent fat man walking by, who has nothing to do with anything, but if you pushed him in front of the train, he would stop him. Would you:

Worker (whos mistake caused this, but is trying franticly to fix) 29
Other train. (filled with innocent people) 8
Fat Man (Who is totally innocent and oblivious to the whole thing) 26

Save as many people as I can without killing an innocent.

I asked my ex the same question but in the version I heard, you and the fat man are on a bridge and you have to throw him off the bridge in front of the train. Same principle, though. As an example of why she's an ex, she said she'd always sacrifice the greatest number of people possible so that they don't have to die alone. Sweet and sadistic at the same time!

  • I'd sacrifice Faceless as I suspect he's the maker of these threads :)
