I was talking to one of my girl friends(she is not a girlfriend just a friend that is a girl) and we were talking about sex and other sexual things. She asked me if I masturbate so I said yes then she asked how much and I said about 2-3 times a day and she was shocked. She said she doesn't do it that much. So it got me wondering do boys masturbate more than women? What do you think? How often do you masturbate?

Plus do you think my number is normal or not?

    Men do, absolutely. More men masturbate and they do so more often than women who do.

    My girlfriend does less frequently than me but for a lot longer though. I do for like 10 or 15 minutes, but when she does it she goes for an 1-3 hours. No exaggeration. Must be nice...

      Hours for a masturbation session isn't exactly impossible. Just keep edging. I used to do it for that long, too, but I stopped recently. Reason simply being that doing it that long that often means nothing gets done.

        The difference is that I can basically whip my dick out just about anywhere, including some public places like toilets and just wank a quick one off, you on the other hand need a secluded private spot to get one off as it is common knowledge that woman are lot more "noisy" when it comes to masturbating with the need for so much lube to so effectively?

    Nothing wrong with your number. Men masturbate more than woman because they find it easier to masturbate! Woman need some privacy to be able to masturbate effectively, men can do it just about anywhere!

    Woman are noisy when masturbating and men can do it in silent mode (need for lube)!

    I think generally guys especially younger do masturbate more. I know in my early 20s I would masturbate 3 times a day.

    I think your number is normal. My boyfriend told me that some years ago, he also used to do it 2-3 times a day and I was like O_O *shocked* ahah. But it depends, it's just a phase.

    And I agree with Gspyder. Generally, more guys masturbate, and they do it more often that women do.
