Who here has spots?

well when I was 10 i started having spots but eventually i got bad after years have passed by, i don't know what to do about them and they really get on my nerves. I wash my face every day with tea tree and i use clean and clear but they both won't work. I don't drink water every day because i hate it when it doesn't have flavor. what should i do or use ?

  • I had acne for ten years. Got a water filter and now no more acne. It's a whole lifestyle change that only you can decide whether it is worth it to have clear beautiful skin.

Ask a dermatologist- they'll tell you the best regimen and treatments for your type of skin. Everyone is different.

Ok to get rid of acne... Limit animal products like meat and dairy in your diet because the hormones affect your hormones and cause acne, drink red tea (roobios tea), use an astringent most brands sell them but biore is the best in my opinion biore face wash is good too. Also don't go to bed with makeup on and don't touch your face with your hands or let your hair rest on your face. Just some ideas good luck

don't use all the facewash and shit that claims to clear up your skin. get some chandrika soap, it's like a dollar online and it works. use it once a day or it'll dry your face out.

Ask your doctor for 90 pills (12 weeks worth) of
"doxine 100" it's safe and has few negatives effects but the bad news is you have to take each pill with an 8oz glass of water

I'm lucky because I've never had spots, I had a couple in my teen years, but never more than a one or two in my whole life.

If none of the above suggestions work, see a dermatologist. There are different types of acne and other conditions that can be mistaken for acne.

  • Even if you follow the above poster's advice and do of those skin routines and you find yourself eating a lot of processed foods, mac n cheese, mcd's, chips, etc. Your skin will never get better. You need to eat healthier more fruits n veggies and whole foods. Also invest in a water filter to wash your face with, chlorine ( even trace amounts ) found in tap water is very drying to the skin and could exacerbate acne

One more thing I'm not sure how old you are but if you are no longer a teenager. Clean and clear and clearasil won't work because those face cleansers are formulated for teenage acne. If you have adult acne I find the olive oil face wash from St. Ives to be nice, also Aveeno clear complexion works well too for people over the age of 16. You can also go to Sephora, they have a great selection to choose from.

What you need to do is start a proper skin care routine. I've learned that you only really need three things and the dedication to keep it up. Get your self a good facial cleanser, an astringent or toner and a good moisturizer. If you have oily skin I would recommend an oil free moisturizer. Do this both morning and evening before going to bed. Make sure that when you wash your face you rub the facial cleanser on your face for 40-60 seconds and then rinse, followed by the toner. The toner will remove any excess dirt on your face and then followed by moisturizer. It is important to moisturize because if your skin gets too dry (if you have dry skin) you will cause breakouts and if you have oily skin your skin will try to compensate the missing moisture by creating more oil which will cause more breakouts. I hope this helps. Oh and you might want to get some benzoyl peroxide for those spots to get rid of them quicker. I find that the 10% one works the best for really big bad spots (acne). Hope your spots go away.

Don't over exfoliate either as ur skin thinks it's try so produces more oil 1-2 times a week is plenty

  • Vitamin c is good for your skin. Orange juice has flavor as well as vitamin c. Using a daily moisturizer should help as well.

  • If you're a teenager now, spots are the norm for a lot of teens.

Try using fruit juice to flavour water, like the stuff you buy in stores and add water. It makes drinking water much better.

Just try to get decent sleep, eat healthily, drink water/juice.

Clean n clear = zits. It's probably drying your face. Try using face products with no acid...they are just gimmicks.
