Who has the highest sex drive: men or women?

IN my experience men have a high sex drive at the start of a relationship and are interested and experimental, but it soon diminishes, and when they do finaly decide they want sex, asking for it or undressing appears to constitute foreplay.

Women on the other hand (and I include conversations with friends etc) appear to be quite consistent with their sex drive over the long term.

I am interested in your opinions.

Men have the higher sex drive 92
Women have the higher sex drive 60

    Men tend to only put in work, so to speak, when they are in chase mode. This applies not just to sex itself but in how he acts and talks to the woman too. After a guy has been with a girl for a while, the frills pretty much stop.

    Women are more sensitive to needs and there's tremendous pressure on women to keep their man happy, which I think is FUCKED up, why is it all up to the woman...but anyway...since women are more in tune to people's needs around them, I agree, they want to make the sexual experience as good as possible for all involved whereas a man is just looking to drop his load.

    I totally agree with you. I think when people read your question they are going to only think of the actual drive TO have sex though so you might not get a good answer here. I realize you're not so much talking about the actual drive to fuck, more the drive to have GOOD sex.

      I always saw it the other way around. Whereas men need to perform and woman only need to get naked and they have done their job. How many women complain about their man not being good enough, not lasting long enough..? And then, if a man requires a specific act from a woman, he is called all sorts of things and told he should respect his woman.

      Probably something about the grass always being greener.

        Interesting as I have a different view. For me it's the other way round. I have to wait until my man is ready, then IF he decides to take it further, I have to wait to be sure, otherwise he'll be put off. I hate never being able to make the first move.

        It never used to be like that, and I've tried everything to bring back the early days of stimulating chat and foreplay.

    Who says women do? That's crazy talk. I'm a woman and the man always wants to have more sex. If I'm with a woman though, that's a different story.
