I spend at least five hours a day, on the road, driving a truck and If there is one single thing that elates me, it is this ......
Alongside and at a red light, I see a woman looking into the rear vision mirror and applying make up. Putting on lipstick, running her fingers through her hair and ensureing she looks lovely. This is an absolute turn-on for me. For here is a girl, a woman, that cares how she looks and does her best to be pretty.
I tend to get a tad jealous for I would love to be such a woman, doing what women do, without question. Sadly, I am a mere prfetender, a crossdresser that sometimes need to hide the fact. So the question is IIN, for society to judge us as something weird and unwanted and if so, is it all due to their ignorance?

    Masculinity and femininity are traits commonly applied to either gender. However, most people actually treat these traits as hard fast laws. It's unusual for a male to act like a female, but the question is: Is it bad?

    No! Of course it's not bad! Men have it pretty easy in some ways, but there's one thing that they have it rough in one way more than women. And that's breaking the "rule" of masculinity. If a male wishes to act female, why is he discouraged so? Why is it such an insult to call a man girlish if that's how he wants to be?

    If a woman wishes to act more like a man, and dress like one, (I certainly do sometimes dress in clothes more often seen on males) she's a tomboy. If the reverse happens, the man is called a "faggot" or a "cuck" now I ask you is that fair? Nope. And not only is it unfair to men, but it's insulting to women as well by implying that wanting to be more feminine is a bad thing.

    Now as far as I can tell, you're either bisexual or pansexual. So it makes sense that you would be aroused by a member of the opposite gender. I personally am not aroused by people putting on lipstick or messing with their hair, but that's just me.

      What a most fabulous response and the best I have ever received. You have such an insight into the psych of todays modern lifestyle and most certainly an open mind. That alone is what is missing here for most everyone else is so bloody judgemental, in accordance with their single and narrow minde beliefs. We 'guys' have been relogated into the backgrount of society for we are suppose to be exactly what being a male is all about. Be it hunter or collector or protector and that is where it ends. No other way will be tolerated yet as you mentioned, girls can dress and look like guys. Or they can walk doen the street arm in arm or hand in hand and it is excepted as absolutely normal, because that is what girls and women do.

      Double standars will always apply to those that feel threatened and it is always the pretend Macho arsehole that feel threatend most because within him, a coward resides. I can say this with certainty after having spent 12 years in the Defence Force and been in two different war zones as a fighter on the fron line.

        Also, twelve years in the defense force? Two different war zones? Wear all the dresses you like because you've pretty much entitled yourself to a reserved man card whenever you need it! Even most men haven't been in TWO war zones or served that long in the military! Those who hassle you about what you like to wear need to shut it.

      Thank you ever so much for such a wonderful response. You have pretty well summed it up in reapect to how many, maybe most, view life. Women to turn me on, no question about it. They are gorgeous creatures indeed. I have no problem in having one foot in one world and the other in another. In fact I love it. I easily balance both although I would so love to have more time to myself, in dressing up as a woman.

        I'm glad you appreciate my response. About time someone did on this bloody site, haha! As an egalitarian I get into a lot of arguments with sexists of all kinds, including men who think women are mere objects to be used and women who think men are scum. Because of this, I am exposed to a lot of the underlying issues in society so I know a lot about how people in our civilization see masculinity and femininity. And trust me, it ain't good what I see. Gender-related double standards, objectification, stereotypes and unrealistic expectations aren't as rare as they ought to be.

    It is normal and natural to judge others and be repulsed by unnatural things, like people halfway between masculinity and femininity.

        I'd say society is actually on your side here, it's our inner nature that resists. Society has created a delusion that clashes against reality, causing a generation of depressed youths.
