its yet another decision between the lesser if two evils,, or as trey Parker would say, between a douche and a turd.
Trump will win because Biden has alzeimers and his running mate is only popular because she is a somewhat blackish woman.
I think everyone should vote for a third party just to show that Americans would appreciate more than two turds to choose from.
Looking at it all I think Trump will win, I don't know wtf the Democrats are doing but people are noticing. That said, Trump was a surprise so who knows.
Joe Biden Sucks as the Democratic candidate, but at least he wouldn’t try to shut down Twitter for having fact check added to 2 of his Tweets.
No president has gone without mistakes, but if you think Trump cares about the commonwealth’s interest before his own, you’re a damn fool.
Well to be fair how is Fact checking only Trump work? Why not every politician? Also it cant be sourced from a partisan source because how is that fair, hell snopes hasn't been moderate for years now.
I dont trust the corporate intrest at Facebook, Twitter or Google to put the peoples livelihoods in front of their very obvious political agendas.
To be fair, politicians who lie more are naturally going to get fact checked more. When Trump is out there spewing more nonsense than every other politician combined, of course it’s going to look like he’s the only one getting fact checked. Same thing with snopes, it’s not their fault that conservatives are so much more likely to believe cockamamie stories that they have to debunk.
You’re right about Facebook, Twitter, and Google though. They might as well have been on Trump’s payroll for all they did to promote his campaign and all the lies about Clinton they let spread unchecked.
Democrats have been saying on twitter "there is no evidence that shows mail in voting is susceptible to fraud" and they were not fact checked. And the problem is there is evidence. In N.J. a judge has ruled that they are redoing a local election because over 20% of the mail in ballots went missing! This isnt the only place where this has happened. That is just an example from today. I could give you many more examples where democrats have blatantly lied and they are never fact checked.
Forget about Trump’s political agenda for a second. He is a trashy human being who likes to cause drama for his own gains.
I dunno I think you’re going to be fucked no matter what.
It’s pretty stupid that those two asshats are really your “best choices” to begin with.
Biden will win but appears to be suffering from dementia with an addd case of being creepy and weird asf
Yeah Biden isn't all there but isn't a confused old man with a soul better than a focussed demagogue? On what planet is Biden more creepy than Trump?
No way! Biden was hot and totally fuckable back in the day. He's creepy because he's old and still thinks he has game.
Trump has always been creepy as shit, he essentially bought every bit of ass he ever had, he cringes the porn stars, he bought the Miss Universe pagent to dressing room stalk. Hell he said his own daughter would bang him if he wasn't her father!
I'm going to have to disagree with you on who is creepier, Tommy.
You can be hot and still be a complete and total creeper, look at bundy lol.
Trump is just spoilt, but otherwise more of a goof than anything.
Biden appears to be going somewhat insane and much of the public has noticed and is concerned about his mental health. Biden will win, but he’s just going to be a prop to secure it for the party and then his second will run shit.
To peacefully pass or retire. The man doesnt have the cognitive strength to be president. He talks unscripted for more than 2 seconds and he: A. Forgets the topic. B says something horrendously offensive without thinking it through. C. Says and or acts incredibly creepy.
Now we can all have a fun conversation about Trumps gaffs but let's be honest Biden gaffes are on another magnitude. "If you dont vote for democrats then you ain't black"
Vs trump gaffs are mostly either poorly timed jokes or are snipped out of context by the media, prime example "Mexicans are rapists"
I likely agree with you on many issues but I will will always choose the lesser evil even if it's bidens dog's mothers cousin. Anyone but Trump.
Problem is, is biden really, really the lesser of two evils here? Biden is a paper bag, who is more likely to be making the decisions is Kamala Harris or the establishment democrats and I am in no way comfortable having a leader that is that weak minded that he requires others to do the thinking for him instead of having a personal agenda.
Trump, hes rough I get it. I personally cant stand having to listen to his speeches. But the man is a bully, which is what America kinda needs. We need our enemies to FEAR us. Our allies to back us up when they want to quit or have us shoulder costs for their own defenses. And countries that are neutral to stay that way or join the ally train.
The lesser of two evils is a strong america (especially if it's very likely we are going to war with China soon)
Is it better to be nice and a pushover or be an asshole and a stone wall?
Biden has flipped on whether or not he will defund the police or not. How is that strong? Flip flopping on what you want is weak. For the love of god trump is still talking about the wall!
It’s a well known fact that bullies are pathetically weak deep down, which does help explain why Trump cowers anytime anybody stands up to him. And it’s pretty well known that he doesn’t give a shit about anything as far as political policies go, and agrees with whatever the last person he talked to said. That might help explain why, by one count, Trump flip flopped 141 times on 23 different issues during his first campaign. He actually defended this and called it a strength, claiming it made him flexible and unpredictable. The fact that Trump is still talking about the wall, which he still hasn’t got and Mexico still hasn’t paid for, tells you all you did to know. He still hasn’t gotten the one and only thing he was consistent on, while everybody else in the party easily manipulates him into doing their bidding.
He actually got much needed fencing reinforced on the southern border. Turns out you really dont need to put fencing on hundreds of miles of desert, but really just fortify fences outside of town.
How is biden stronger than trump? Am I the only one that notices the mental feebleness when he speaks. Oh wait I'm not it just the media that miraculously covers for him and gives him the benefit of the doubt on his gaffs.
Biden "the segregation supporter" teamed up with Kamara Harris "the prosecutor" I think its a terrible two. People that vote for them are mostly gonna be ppl who hate Trump. I think Harris is gonna hurt black voter turnout because she has made a career of prosecuting blacks. Its a hard sell that she cares about blacks in jail when she worked so hard to put them there.
Trump. Biden is leading in the polls by a smaller margin than Hillary was back in 2016.
Trump will win. America almost always give a president the full 8 years, and also he is up against Biden. Biden is such an obviously shitty candidate that it almost feels like the Democrats don't want to win it this time.
I don't like niether of them...but I'll go with the lesser of two evils..go Biden go..I had enough of the spycho bipolar retard who's being fucking America over his own interest and assets.
Trump has the incumbent advantage.
Biden who is a bumbling nut case at this point just selected one of the worst running mates he could of chosen (I would have been worried if he chose Michele Obama) Kamala Harris actively chose to keep low level offenders in prison to have free firefighters for the state. Has denied lifesaving DNA testimony for a man who was on death row, hours from execution. She is the furthest candidate from being a woman of color through life and ethnicity.
Also lil finnish language fact for you. Her name Kamala is literally translated to Horrible in finnish.
The election is going to be a disaster and start a civil war. No one will know who won. Buy firearms now or you’ll be fighting with machetes and kitchen knives.
Even Nate Silver was way off in his estimation last time, so I’m afraid to speculate at this point
Donald Trump is a total arsebandit, sure, but Biden has played right into Trump's hands with his policies.
Republican swing voters, who are what Biden requires in order to win back the Presidency for the Democrats, fundamentally disagree with everything he stands for (not least the fact that he was the former vice-president to Obama who the Trump base couldn't stand).
The fact that Biden has chosen a mixed race woman as his running mate has further alienated the Republican support and Biden appears clueless as to why.
As a libertarian I dont actually like the libertarian party. They think too small to do anything. Legalizing weed, alright and?? Libertarians are really meant for congress.
The election will be won like last time with: Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnestota, Michigan, Pennsylania and Florida. Perhaps Virginia and North Carolina as well. Whoever gets those states wins.
If the Biden/Harris ticket veers too far left and shames Caucasians just for being born white, Trump will win. Particularly if Biden isn't mentally cognizant and gets embarassed in the presidential debates.
If covid continues to be, (or atleast appears) to be a major problem, and the Democrats present some form of unification amongst all Americans, Biden/Harris win.
A lot of important voters really don't want to vote for Trump. But if identity politics, defunding of police, increased crime, protests/riots, etc. continue...
The independent, moderate, undecideds that aren't looking for a revolution-will shun the Democrats and vote Trump in again.
A lot of "Electors" will win the election...
They will then decide who will be president. I believe that is scheduled for December.
While many assume that the decision is determined by the November election. Should something major happen to the candidate who "apparently won"; the electors may well chose another; even perhaps someone who was not even on the ballot. I don't believe that has ever happened in American history; but, it is certainly possible.
Not true. IF the Electors cannot select a President and Vice President with a clear majority of votes, the decision then goes to the US House of Representation.
The situation where a candidate has died or suffered a major health (or character) situation has never occurred in the United States.
However, In 1824 Andrew Jackson was the Presidential Candidate with the most electors votes; but it was not a clear majority. The House of Representatives chose John Quincy Adams as President per the rules under the 12th Constitutional Amendment (John Quincy Adams had run for President).
Not a problem. Most people don't understand how the constitutional electoral college and US House, etc. drives the results.
It is my understanding that ultimately if the electors cannot make a clear choice, if the US House of Representation cannot make a clear choice, or a candidate dies (or suffers very major medical issues) prior to being sworn in as President (without the US House being able to reconvene and re-select) - that the Speaker of the House gets sworn in as President so that the country has a new President on Jan 20, 2021 (and every 4 years after that unless there are further Constitutional Amendments). Assuming that she gets re-elected in her home state and within the House of Representatives(an almost certainty) this will be Democratic Representative Nancy Pelosi in January 2020.
Should an election not be held in the previous November, my understanding is the Senate President Pro Tempore would be sworn in as the President as there would not be a Speaker of the House (as all Representatives terms expire on Jan 3 of all odd years). The President Pro Tempore is historically the most senior member of the Senate. Should the November 2020 elections not happen this would be Senator Democrat Senator Patrick Leahy, although the remaining about 2/3 of the current Senate who are serving terms could select someone else. The Democrats would have the majority of the current remaining senate, and could designate another Democrat as Senate President Pro Tempore prior to Jan 20 if they felt someone else was more qualified for the job (and to be President).
The above scenarios have ensured that virtually all Republicans will do everything possible to ensure that the election happens in November 2020.
There are no scenarios where President Trump could remain in office if not specifically chosen by the electors in December or the US House or Representatives if the electors cannot decide after a November election. Not even if he were to declare martial law.
