Who do you think should pay for the abortion

The person who is responsible for making the choice. I wouldn't pay for an abortion because I can't stand the though of my baby being aborted.

But for mutual decisions it should be 50%, and for situations where the man doesn't want to abort but the woman does it anyways, its up to her.

So, the woman has full choice, the man has to have no choice but has to share 50% of the responsibility, is not allowed to avoid parental responsibility like women can due to abortions, yet he has to pay half or all of it?

No, the woman pays for it. If it's "her choice" to keep or abort the child, then "she" pays for the child. Why should a man pay for the abortion when he has no say on if his child is aborted or not? So he has to pay to do something he doesn't want happening?

I like how you say "She wouldn't of got pregnant if it wasn't for him". Then for the female you just say "it's her body". You tried to sway it as if it is the man's fault being a better reason than "it's her body".

- If the man hadn't had a condom on, she should of said "no sex unless you wear a condom, I don't want to fall pregnant".
- She has more methods of birth control than the man, so she should of used them.
- She has full choice on if she'll abort of keep the child, so she should have all the responsibility of making the choice only "she" is allowed to make, which means she has to pay for it.

You can pay for abortions now? In my day we just pushed them down the stairs and hoped for the best.

Usually I am against abortions unless its a critical case, but all in all, if the woman is the one who gets to decide about abortion, the man have no say in it, then the woman is the one who should pay.

I'm a lady and I voted the woman. Like everyone else is saying if it's your choice than you pay for it. If I was getting an abortion I wouldn't want anyone else to pay for it.

Of course it's both of their faults that she is pregnant, but it's the woman's choice whether to abort or keep, not the man's IMO. So she should pay for it.

At the risk of opening a good ol' can of worms, I think (in some cases) it ought to be partly the tax-payers. In cases where the would-be parents can't afford it but want to abort the kid, the tax-payer should take some of the slack in my opinion.

If tax-payer money isn't needed, it should be 50/50. Both of them had the choice of protecting themselves, both of them chose to have sex and knew the risk they were taking. Both of them had equal responsibility over whether she got pregnant, both of them should pay equally. Unless, of course, the woman was raped (or, I guess, if the man was raped, which can happen).
