Who are you?

A girl who isn't the brightest, isn't the prettiest, isn't the skinniest, isn't the most talented, but... Um... I have teal hair?

I'm a fat guy that wants nothing more than to improve humanity. I plan on doing that through my art; by making films that serve as mirrors with which humanity can see its own contempability. As much as I would appreciate the warmth of another human, I see romance as nothing more than a hindrance. I sometimes question whether or not my decision to avoid love is a way I cope with the idea that I am ugly and fat; that no one would want to be romantic with me, so why waste any time trying.

I'm unsure of who I am

Well all of those options tend to provide some insight into who someone is. Where I'm from is an important part to my identity (as is the fact that I moved away from there). What I study shows you something that I'm interested and how I spend a large portion of my time. My age gives you an indication as to how much "life experience" I have.

When you remove all that, then I suppose I could reel off a list of different traits, but the fact of the matter is that it depends. Everything feels like a sliding scale. Some days I'm more kind, or funny, or open than other days. I'm not keen on the idea of presenting myself as a list of adjectives, because I'm always changing in small (and sometimes big) ways, just like everybody else. And besides, there's only so far those adjectives go. They're way too broad to describe all the complexities of human nature, the ways to which I react to things, etc. So, in a lot of ways, you can gauge more from the sorts of things you listed, namely the things that involve my actions.

Some things which are so deeply entrenched into who I am as a person that they'll never change is my love (in fact I'd go as far as to say my need) for travelling. I travel as frequently as I can, time and money permitting. My love of and deep interest in animals. My fear and sadness about the prospect of death (and that I'm an atheist). I could go on!

I'd also probably be seen as "left wing", due to my concern and love of the planet and the environment, my wish that things were more equal in the world, my belief in socialism, etc etc.

I feel fairly contradictory sometimes. My moods can change quickly and although I have a deep interest in pretty much everything, I sometimes feel like I have nothing to do, and I'm quite restless. I feel endlessly grateful to have met someone who's perfect for me, but sometimes I feel like I don't deserve him or that I'd rather just be on my own. I could continue, but this comment is already pretty long, and I, like most people, am too complex to sum up with a few paragraphs. And there's never going to be one solid answer. These are a few glimpses into who I am, just the first things to spring to mind. :)

I think we are what makes us unique and we are who we want to be and who we strive to become. If I'm talking about my nature, I'd say I'm curious, spontaneous, sensitive, creative, emotional, perceptive, critical, somewhat wise, anxious, whimsical, imaginative, neurotic, smart, immodest, impatient, fun-loving, friendly, loud, inquisitive, and understanding. :)

Who are YOU?

I guess the only way to truly define myself is by what things i love/want and what things i loathe.
I want world peace,i want to live in an old english town with my family and friends where the baker delivers morning bread to your doorstep ,i love women and i love my drink. I loathe the public in general and ungrateful cunts.

I'm somewhat dark on the inside and kind of angry about certain things, but I have ways to "escape" because it simply makes me feel better, mostly music(music will always be my first love). Despite that peace is MY religion and I actually have a lot of love to give. I believe life is about doing things for others not for yourself, and also learning from others. I only wish I could help more people in the end that really need it.

I don't follow. I go my own way. I don't blindly obey and refuse to be brainwashed like the masses. Rather, I'm a critical thinker and I question many things, such as our existence, the meaning of life, government, history, etc. I see things for how they are. Not how I would like them to be, or how others want me to see them.

I don’t listen to the right kind of music. I haven’t read the important books that would make me seem interesting. I’m not funny unless you consider quirky behaviour and slapstick facial expressions humorous. I don’t read or write poetry. I’m not charming. I’m bashful and reclusive. I have an abundance of hope for people and it’s likely because I can be overly sentimental at times. I’m a loyal friend and feel very protective towards those I care about. I smile a lot. I look worried when I’m not smiling. People have hurt me and I’ve hurt others. I try to do what is right but there are times when knowing what that is doesn’t seem clear to me; that’s when I rely on friends for counsel.
