Opening this from just the title alone, I thought it might be a fun poll, but it's just stereotyping a few major religions and one non-religious group.

Define "sin". Atheists don't believe in sin, so they have no sin. The others all believe that they are not sinning by their own code, so they also have no sin.

Disappointing... I expected a better poll, considering the title.

It all depends on which faith dictates what is a sin and what is not a sin. If it is not a sin then it is something you must do but if it is you are supposed to restrain yourself from doing it. So it is all pretty much about ruling over your life by telling you what you should not do implicitely telling you what you shouldn't do. But people always find a way to do what they know shouldn't do and make it look like and thinking and saying and acting like they are doing something else. Or they pretend like they accidentaly sinned. As for murder. As long as you do it directly by stabbing or shooting or choking someone then you are a sinner but if you do it indirectly by for example poisoning the air with carbon monoxide coming out of your tailpipe all of a sudden nobody is murderer because most people see burning oil in their cars as a necessity. So as long as you cause somebody death as a side effect of something else you were doing in which nobody sees anything wrong you are not a sinner because you weren't actually planning to kill anybody. Well i find all this quite hipocritical. Or if your religion constantly drums into you the concept according to which whatever a strong and/or intelligent man does is right while everything a weak or stupid man does is wrong.. It is still the same thing. No matter which rules or dogmas a guy sitting on a throne while thinking he is holy dictates can't possibly apply to everyone indistinctively without causing some casualities. Sometimes even amongst the very same people who completely accepted these dogmas. So..the biggest sinners are those who still believe in sins.

We all have fallen short of the glory of God. It was said that a prostitute once was walking to the town well and she saw a thirsty dog. She gave the dog some water, and when her death came God forgave all her past sins because she gave that poor dog water. God can forgive anyone for anything for whatever reason he wants. So whos to say that someone who does nothing in his life bad but one day he lies. To God that may be well bad as murder compared to the pure life he led.

I don't think religion has anything to do with how bad you sinned. I take it most of the votes for the christians are by atheists. Why say that that person sins when you don't believe there is a god to sin against? foolish people.

Doesn't that really depend on the person. That being said most of the people I've run into on that list have been normal or nicer. The only ones who acted in a rude or sacrilegious way were the atheists. That being said, some of the nicest people I know are agnostics. To me I think being an agnostic is a logical choice, but defying all conventional religion while holding a RELIGIOUS belief of who or what God is(In this case that he doesn't exist). I've ran into atheists who say rude things like calling Easter "zombie appreciation day", or mock me for being Catholic. Agnostics are always respectful of my beliefs in my experience, and are more likely to be able to hold civil debates on Religion.

You realize this question is impossible to answer right? You clearly have no understanding of what religion is or what sin is considered. Depending on what religion they consider different things bad. So you can not pick which one of these religions is sinning the most since to them they may not be. You know for future reference you should probobly learn about the subject you are posting before you post this type of shit on the internet. It just makes you look a complete retard otherwise. Some religions say you cant eat pig and some say you cant drink. Yet some say you can drink and can eat pig. So one might say the other is sinning but according to that religion they might not be. religion doesn't make people sin more or less. It just let's them excuse their sins. which is bullshit. Because I don't need a god to forgive what people have done. I forgive people because I know a thing or two about what it's like to be human. Stop pretending your morals, your compassion, and your very being comes from an imaginary clown in the sky. Stop giving things, that don't exist, credit for all the right and wrong you do.

A better question would be "which group is the least moral?". By Western standards, most people would vote Muslims..

As for proven statistics, from this list the most moral are Atheists. Because we are good for the sake of being good, not because we are told to be good, we have a higher and purer sense of morality than religious people. It's also shown that among donations to charities/non-profits, Atheists contribute more money, more often.

Sinning is a religious concept, and each religion has a different definition of sin, therefore there is no definitive answer.

Most religions speak of respecting others treating people equally, being kind and all that. Religious or not, if you do that you're not a sinner.

Being a Christian doesn't mean you are pure and completely good. Most Christians are sinners too, but they are at least (more or less) trying to be good.

They procilitize there front motto "Peace and Love" only to get you hooked on drugs use you for sex if you're a teenage girl get you pregnant before she's ready to have children mentally. Anytime I've gotten involved with these people I've been used for every resource and it became VERY expensive and encumbersome. I spent my money and my time with them and they gave Me nothing in return. I dispise any of these doctrines.

I read the results of a scientific study earlier today which has made me both a little more concerned about religion and also a little less likely to say a word about it.

I haven't met enough of any of those groups to judge, and I don't think people should believe that religion or lack of, makes you a good or bad person.

Also, what's considered a sin in one religion is not a sin in another, so are you asking which group commits what they believe to be sins most? If so, then atheists don't have sins, morals maybe?
