Sending ? We were invaded by Germany. We fought on Soviet soil.
Are you suggesting we should have rolled over like the rest of Europe and surrendered ?
You understand that the Nazi Germans literally believed us Slavs to be “Sub-human” right ?
They called us Untermenschen and said we were just barely fit to be slaves. That we bred like rabbits. That we were inferior. That we were scum and mutts of mongol asiatic remains.
They kidnapped thousands of children of Aryan Slavs.

“Sending”. Insane. I’m a fucking Jew. Thank god our iron-clad strong Russians stood their fucking ground.

In what way, shape, or form is the world going in the right direction, and what people, specifically, are you saying are holding us back?

Because my mind came up with two obvious answers to those two questions, but both of them were very simplistic and short-sighted. Remember, the post said "the world", not just "the US".

The world's big step toward shit was when society started this pussy worshiping trend.. Men and women are made different because each have it's own role an both are EQUALLY important!, but people are being brainwashed to think men are unessessary and women must be put on a pedestal.

The problem is that the power is overwhelmingly in the hands of those whose companies both make it and hold the patents and many of their use cases are detrimental to the common man. For example, central bank digital currencies will be a disaster for privacy and individual freedom.

Technological advancement is fine but the direction of many of the advances is not fine at all. We're on our way to a plutocratic technocracy where only the rich ruling class will live well.

The rest I agree with you on. Society is morally bankrupt and it's only going to get worse.

And I wish warlords didnt cut petty thieves hands off.

Theres a lot of problems in the world, some people just view the petty entrenched ones as the views that need to be immediately changed.

People yelling "fag!" At other people really isnt the pinnacle of my concern.

Also I perfer to wait these things out. If they are truely the superior ideal they'll last. Not 5 years mind you, multi decade-long social cohesion.

It's like testing out if emo culture could last outside of the 2000s. Mostly died out... who would of thunk.

Okay, that's pretty much what I thought it was. Yeah, there's way more to humanity and society than racial and gender equality. If you think we're doing great on those fronts (I'm dubious of this, honestly), then we're going to be in the middle of a super accepting and inclusive circlejerk as bombs rain down on our heads and our empty bank accounts.

Depends on which direction you think is the right direction and where you're living right now to skew your viewpoint.

I feel like we're moving closer to, rather than further away from, nuclear war.

I feel like the influence of the US is getting weaker rather than stronger. Opposite for China.

I feel like our communities' slow move towards introversion has a negative effect on virtually every part of society, from birth rates, to elections, to school/mass shootings/violence.

I feel like general education has stagnated. We were getting smarter with every generation, but I'm not sure if that's happening anymore. Hopefully Gen Z proves me wrong.

I feel like nothing has been done to close the wage gap (highest paid vs lowest paid). In fact, it feels like it just keeps getting wider.

I feel like the concept of the family is disintegrating, at least in the US. I'm not sure if stuff like rising single parent homes, homes where both parents work full time, and diminishing community safety leading to kids spending more time inside of buildings is healthy for the future.

I also feel like climate change is catching up on us, but I've long since lost hope in us doing anything about that one.

I dont think china is gonna conquer the world. At this point I dont think they have the political ability to survive taking a country 100 miles from it shores.

An invasion will be seen from months ahead. Russians are having trouble invading a country that they share a railroad with. The ukrainians have only been marginally preparing for 8 or so years, compared to tiawan who has been preparing since they retreated there.

China is also suffering a demographic crash worse than japan with a greater share of the population in the aging pop. Pared with the communistic nanny state the elderly will crush the tax base. Unless you shift the burden to the males who have to support 2 sets of grandparents. Thatll inspire them to raid a beach that would be more defendable than Omaha. For what? A political victory and a bunch of ruined factories you have no idea how to operate? Otherwise you would already be manufacturing those.

    In ways, yes.

I keep saying that the push for having everything done online is unhealthy both mentally and physically. Of course, when used in moderation a lot of online options can be great conveniences, but it seems to me that society is only growing more and more isolated in favor of doing everything online possible. Work from home, buy everything off of Amazon, have groceries and restaurant meals delivered to your home, using social media as a main (or only) means of socialization, etc. AI bots are even replacing human friends, for crying out loud! Yet, people are shocked that depression and anxiety, as well as obesity, are growing problems and that so many people are terrified of socialization. None of these things are normal, and I'm convinced the majority of it is environmental and due to the fact that these people aren't getting out and interacting with others enough, which is extremely unhealthy.

I was hoping that if anything, quarantine would teach people how isolating and depressing being shut inside and glued to technology is and make people crave real, in person interaction and being able to get out again, but sadly, it seems people are even more addicted to technology than before.

I am not saying by any means that we should completely do away with the Internet or online conveniences, but there is a better middle ground than the current obsession over it. It seems that many options to get out and go do things are going away in favor of online alternatives (at least where I live). The world is ironically only becoming more and more isolating despite us being more connected online than ever before, and it's really depressing as a younger adult with very few options to go out and actually do things and meet people anymore.

It seems people used to get out, socialize with each other, and have a great time, and now you constantly see groups of people all on their phones and not even speaking to each other. I don't get it! People seem more and more like zombies all the time.

I'm glad the Internet and many online options exist, so don't get me wrong, but I hope the overindulgence and push towards online being "better" and replacing so many other options dies down at some point, sooner rather than later.

I also think that a lot of other things are moving way too extreme in one direction, but I'm not sure there's much that can be done about any of this until the pendulum eventually starts swinging back towards the center.

Okay, go to England where blindings and disfigurations happen regularly due to acid attacks, and where wokeness has so completely eroded the common sense of any assholes over there that the British government deemed it more important to avoid making looking Muslims look bad, and so instead allowed thousands of children to be sex trafficked rather than shutting down the operation and making it public that Muslim refugees were raping and selling people's children

As I've said before people are 51% good and 49% are less so. The worlds heading for a good direction. Just it's really slow.

Most people are neutral, thinking about their own well being. Then you have groups that care about their own ideologies above their own individual priorities. The problem with that is theres very little "evil for evil sake" so it's mostly good vs good. How you define good can be boiled down into numerous moral ideology.

As I said. It's a crawl. To think the world will change into your worldview in your lifetime is extremely narcissistic and delusional. Best keep your expectations low. Might die in a world you approve in.
