Who actually uses is it normal gold?

I don't use IIN Gold and never will. It's not worth the money.

Someone gave it to me as a gift once before.

I do, I have a monthly subscription. :) I got it as a gift and I liked it so much I decided to keep it going. The messaging is nice, it's not very much money at all and I'm glad to be supporting a smaller business, especially one that I've become such an active member of the community in.

I use it. I've gotten it for myself and given and received it as a gift. I talk to some people behind the scenes once in a while and I get to see all the posts before they get through or not. I never go in the chat though. Not my style.

I bought it for a year. I don't often message people but I like that people can message me. Also, I like that I can get to comment on things that don't get past moderation. If the OP checks their email, they can at least get the advice I wanted to give.

As for the colours, I don't think I'm allowed to change colour now. Last time I did, IINers really didn't take to it. I may go on a "colour tour" though and be a different colour every day before going back to purple.

I use it too and yes it's just a little money. What I like best is that you get to read all the new stories before they are moderated.

I was thinking of purchasing a one month subscription, just to try it out. The extra username color options and the ability to message other users' sounds nice.

Quite insidious actually. If TheMan really understood anything, he'd give everyone 1 free month of IIN Gold and then require them to pay.

I use it. I rarely send PMs, but I'm glad that I have the option too and that people can send them to me. Also, the Unmoderated Section suits the way I use this place better. I don't stay here for long periods of time, and like to pop back for short bursts of time. So it's better to have posts which come gradually, rather than an influx of posts.

I use it. I think it's worth the money since it's not a large amount of money and I like having a larger variety of colors for my username.
