Okay first thing if you like Anthrax Disterbed Korn or Nirvana then I have to tell you that they suck! Sorry opinions are like assholes! Deal with it

At first I was like hey, this person has good taste in music, but then you went and dissed some of my favorites like Nirvana and Korn. >:(
Out of the ones you listed Pantera is the band I know and like the best, so I voted for them. There is nothing quite like Darrell Abbott's shredding ability on a Dean guitar.
People posting about "crunk core" and "nu metal" during a conversation about Slayer and Pantera? This is a sad day for metal indeed.
Haven't listened to these ones that much so can't vote :/ Have to check these on Youtube.
I always find Arch Enemy fairly entertaining. Slayer are a good live band. Pantera are just classic awesome though, so they get my vote. I usually prefer nu-metal, but I like a few songs by all three of those. Dark Tranquility; not so much.
Lets say all those old metal bands are not what I like... I prefer the newer ones like Disturbed, Dope or sth. like that!
Metallica , Annihilator , Marilyn Manson & Narjahanam are my favorite...
1. Slayer is the father of metal.
2. Pantera, influenced many metal bands.
3. Dark Tranquility are Ok.
Arch Enemy is just another band, like any other shitty new death metal band.
Why is arch enemy even on that list? That band sucks. Sorry. Of course slayer and pantera are classic. I voted slayer. My favorite true metal band would have to be cradle of filth. But now im really into good metalcore.
NONE of you people are mentioning real metal. the faceless? psycroptic? fleshgod apocalypse? decrepit birth? aborted? job for a cowboy? black dahlia murder? and that is just a smaaalll amount. c'mon people
