Which was easier for you? the questions or the driving part? (driving)

okay, so yeah i got a permit, the questions i passed the first try. but the actual driving, it seems difficult and scary. i feel like the driving part would be the hardest, so many people can't drive, it frightens me. what if i get in a wreck? my fault or not, it would suck either way. not sure i'm ready to have that much responsibility. i'm 29 years old, i want a family some day, i find it difficult to get in a relationship if i don't drive.

i feel like a coward, what bothers me the most is how bad it can bother me, but i don't do anything about it.

most likely whatever good driving is to you, the speeches you may tell, will only add in to the bottle, one day it will overflow, it has to. i can't be like this forever. i'll kick my own ass.

but seriously, what was easier for you? or was it the same?

With your fears about driving, I would not go forward with getting your license until you have resolved them. It is quite likely you will turn your fears into a self fulfilling prophecy and cause that incident you are so afraid of.
Unlike other things one accomplishes in life, is not wholly dependent on your ability to master the subject. When driving you are not only driving your car, but attentive to those around you and you must be prepared for any irrational actions by those drivers, all the time.
Do not under any circumstances let ANYONE push you into driving before you are ready. Take your time and relax; it is not all that hard to drive, but it is harder to be a good driver.

I think if you are comfortable, it has a lot to do with it. The cop you get can pass/fail you too, depending on whether he got his donuts and coffee that morning or not...

Usually though, a good one can spot if you are confident enough. As long as you follow the traffic laws and don't have any major slip ups, you should be just fine.

Don't be too nervous either. You have to remember, they've pretty much seen it all before.

First thing you should do is not stress yourself out about it.

For me, both things were easy. The writing was easier because I just read something and then remember it.

Can you drive already? Get a car, become accustomed to it, become comfortable with it. It won't help if you go do your driving test in an unfamiliar car.

Go as sloooooow as you want. Just take all the time you need and stay focussed.

written and maneuverability was definitely easier, i passed them both on my first try, whereas it took me 5 tries (and in 2 different states) to get my driver's license, because i get nervous when other people are in the car with me...
