Hellsing is really cool. The only downside to it is that Alucard is so overrated.

Meh, True Blood was good in the first few seasons. Now they rely more on shock value than on actual plot. I stopped watching when it became gratituitous.

You picked the crappiest shows. Vampire diaries is written like a soap papra. True blood is mediocre. Twilight is awful and cheaply made. Buffy was a good series but they stopped showing it.

Just an observation. Twilight is not a show it's a very bad film unless you are a teenage girl which i am not.
If you put Buffy why not the spin off Angel. Joss whedon is a genius i loved what he did with avengers.

Although it's a movie (not a show), I still liked Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. I recently watched it and it was definitely worth the time to watch.

Out of what you listed, the only decent one is Buffy. Twilight is a story about a girl's choice between bestiality and necrophelia, and True Blood nowadays relies more on shock value than on plot, as I stated above. :P Buffy all the way.

I used to like vampire literature so much when i was a kid. Anne Rice, Bram Stoker.. Victorian times, good manners and bloody murders. That was beautiful. Then hollywood came along and raped it. After the "Interview with the vampire there was NOT a single good show/film about vampires. Yeah, true blood was sweet the first couple of seasons, but then they lost it as well. the rest is a total shit. oh, and whoever said "twilight" deserves a slow and painful death.
