Which types of foods do you usually cook?

I'm 19, and I love to cook. Its not just another household chore for me, I really enjoy cooking and if I could do it all day I would. Everyone seems to like my food, and my boyfriend and his family especially enjoys my lasagne. I love making stuff from scratch like mac and cheese, cannaloni, sweet and sour bacon wrapped chicken, chicken fillet with mushroom and cheese sauce, basically comfort food. I enjoy fast food a lot too, like cheeseburgers and pizza. I'm curious to know what other people usually make for dinner? This is meant specifically for people who actually cook meals for themselves or their families, not people who order chinese every other night. I don't care what take out you folks enjoy best, I want to know which home cooked meals you people like making. Maybe it will give me new ideas for new meals to make :D

I make a lot of soups and stews in the colder months. I enjoy making wild rice with fresh stir fried veggies. I try not to consume a lot of pasta but it is quick and easy and the kids like it. i always sneak spinach in the sauce. But I love spinach and put it in just about everything.

This weekend I made a bunch of breakfast burritos for work this week. I like to make egg scrambles with veggies and cheese. I do love breakfast foods.

Damn. I just replied to your other comment and the story was deleted.

Well, I guess I'll just hijack this post.

You might as well be drinking out of a Yahtzee shaker if you're going to drink out of a Kerr. I mean show some class....Sheesh ;)

And I hope the fictional girl calls me, too. That would be freaky as hell. Haha

We use the local vegetables and chicken to make spicy pressure cooker stews. Curries, jerk pork and chicken are also on the menu quite often. Pasta occasionally, especially our own invention, lobster carbonara, is a nice change of pace. And of course, we can catch fish, lobster, conch, squid, crab or octopus anytime we wish, so it's seafood, seafood, seafood.

I make pasta dishes. I sometimes help my boyfriend cook dinner. I often replace beef with ground turkey because it's not as greasy. I love making cheesy dishes.

Anything I can batch cook. In my fridge last week was pasta sauce. This week I've got beef rice and I need to make a chicken stirfry. Sometimes veggie pizza, but not so often. Had veggie burgers a couple weeks ago. Beef goulash or chicken soup. Lunch is usually just a raw garden salad. Sometimes add some meatballs to it. Organic meat is hard to buy in my supermarket atm and my organic store is filled with cunts and shitty products. They had great chicken bites but I got sick from them so I guess no more.

    Now I want a falafel pita :(

I love cooking too. I used to make delicious organic bread. Rye bread being my favourite. I used to make cookies too.

I make veggie stir-frys, pasta, fudge, and plain sexy rice now. :)

A large variety. I have very diverse tastes so it's usually a different type every week. I like light asian food and german food a lot though. Cold pastas.

Hmmm, good question the fellar asked.. If a hot lady is lying on the sidewalk, you can't eat 'er? Hah, those are the easiest ones. Just your luck!

Speaking of Chinese... Pineapple Teriyaki or Orange Chicken on a bed of rice. As an alternative...simmering the flavored Chicken in a Crock pot for hours then adding cooked rice and/or veggies about 30 minutes before serving to warm them up. They aren't my favorite though to make. Mine is Lasagna but you already mentioned it. o.O
