Anything and everything to do with Twilight should be destroyed and never spoken of again. Poison.
There's much worse out there, is it only Twilight that you feel this way about:L?
None of them. They all suck. Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings for the win!
You know all the weird relationship issues in this site, right? Well, they are "still a better love story than Twilight".
I'm the first one to vote New Moon. I liked it because it's less soppy than the rest. I thought it showed more real love than the others because you see how they suffer when apart. It kinda proves it's not infatuation.
Those hating Twilight, I'd imagine that the majority dislike it because of it's popularity. A talking point really. To be honest though, you're not alone or special in acting this way. Obviously it's personal opinion but a few people I know enjoyed the books a lot and as soon as the films were released and popularity grew dubbed it 'mind numbing trash.' Hardly, it's just more mainstream now. So quit being pretentious.
I completely agree with you. I think that hating Twilight has become completely over-rated. As a fan of the books, I have to say that the Twilight novels are very good, well-written, and captivating-- they're real page turners. That being said, the movies do them no justice.
In the movies (every single one of them) the story line is portrayed as cheesy and sometimes sort of creepy, but, like I said, the movies and the books are two completely separate things. Those of you who have only seem the movies and not read the books, you don't really have any room to judge. The movies, I admit, are pretty terrible, but the books are very, very good. I suggest that you read them before you make any more accusations about Twilight being stupid and lame. And those of you who haven't seen the movies or read the books, well, you're jumping the gun. Please inform yourself with an opinion that can be supported by facts and actual reasons why you don't like Twilight.
It bothers me when people say that they don't like Twilight, when, in reality, they've never even given it the chance it deserves.
If you're truly not a fan of Twilight, and you've seen the movies and read the books, then fine, I probably won't be able to change how you feel about Twilight, but at least you hate it with good reason, not just because everyone else does.
Learn to think for yourselves, people. Stop riding other people's coat tales and form opinions of your own.
Hating on something like the twilight saga is so immature. That being said (storyline aside) the best actual movie was Eclipse. It was very well done. Breaking Dawn was also done well. It was good that the Volturi were not really in it and the way that they are depicted in the movies is terrible. (Except for Aro) As far as the storyline goes I think that New Moon is the best book because of the emotion behind it.
Saddest thing about this whole "Twilight" saga is that it is a true story based on an acquaintance of mine's life.
The author met her some years back and she told her story to Stephenie Meyer, who then embellished a bit and wrote the books. Of course, when my acquaintance asked for a share of the profits, Stephenie Meyer said no, sue me, which of course my acquaintance couldn't do; come out in public.
All these characters live in a small coastal town in Oregon and keep a very low profile. But every now and then you read of a body found in the woods nearby.....
I am not a huge fan of twilight. I did watch it to see what all the hype was about. The first was decently made. After that the definition seemed very low as the plot line seemed to get worse. They did not do anything with the wolf even though they made him gain 300 pounds of muscle. This is mainly romance and not even a good one at that. It seemed like it had some possible potential after the first movie but they failed horribly. They also started making them within month of each other. Which might be why they turned out so terribly. If you want a good werewolf vs Vampire movie with some real action watch "Underworld" Twilight is complete shit. It is just a little tween romance that can barely be considered a film. It also made a mockery of vampires as a whole. I wanted to see what all the females at school kept talking about.
I'm not sure but I heard that the last one was a huge disappointment - I only wanted to see the last one for their sex scene. It looked funny.
