Which show should i start watching

I want to find something new to watch. I would start at the beginning and either buy the dvds or watch them online.
For some extra information, I love One Tree Hill and Desperate housewives.
No reality shows please

    I sometimes watch glee, but not for the plot, just for the singing.
    These days I love Criminal Minds and Law and Order

    If you have so much free time you may want to pick up a hobby. But if you're looking for good TV, Buffy is great. Skins is pretty awesome too.

    And based on your preferences,you would probably like Gossip Girl. (blek)
