From your list, I loooooove Big bang theory, friends, the simpson and Modern Family :D
None of these. I used to watch The Simpsons before it turned crappy and with Family Guy I got tired of it. The shows I like are:
- Black Books
- Outnumbered
- Absolutely Fabulous
- Old school SouthPark
- American Dad (It's so underrated)
- Adventure Time
- Waiting for God
- Samurai Jack
- Courage the Cowardly Dog
- PowerPuff Girls
- The Boondocks
- and some animes.
The Mentalist is a fascinating show. I've watched all of the seasons so far, about to start on the newest! I do rank this among my top 3 favorite TV shows and I hope everyone would give it a watch. It is very thought provoking and entertaining.
How I Met Your Mother is my new addiction, I'm just reaching the 6th season on Netflix.
I saw a few seasons of Fringe but it started to lose my interested. I definitely recommend watching the first few seasons of it though. Very good sci-fi TV series! I will probably finish off the series just because I got so far it would be a shame to not complete it.
The first 2 seasons of Modern Family were pure gold in my opinion. I recommend those as well. The 3rd season started losing my interest. It wasn't as original as the first two seasons were.
I started watching Breaking Bad and I was impressed. I plan to continue watching it as soon as my TV schedule clears up a bit. I've got a lot of shows I'm watching right now.
New Girl is a good show as well. I probably like it more because Zooey Deschanel is one of my favorite actresses.
Anyone who doesn't like The Simpsons don't deserve to own a television. That's my opinion, of course.
I'm more into TV shows than I am into movies. I tend to lose focus easy these days so 30min-1hr episodes are perfect for my attention span.
I love The Big Bang Theory and Family Guy for the comedy.
But then Breaking Bad is fucking amazing. I am so addicted to it. I'm watching it right now. Probably the best programme I have watched in years.
Never seen White Collar, Castle or Death Note.
Saw the pilot for Mad Men, thought it was boring, but people always bang on about it being such a great show so I might have to give it a chance one day.
Seen a couple of episodes of How I Met Your Mother and The Mentalist. Both seem like shows I'd enjoy, just haven't gotten round to watching them.
Haven't been able to watch Spartacus since Andy died, it just isn't the same without him.
The Simpsons & Friends are both legendary shows, but I haven't watched either for a while.
Out of the rest, it's a tough call, but I'd say The Walking Dead is my favourite right now.
The Big Bang Theory! I enjoy this show waaaaay too much. I do love other shows like Breaking Bad, Seinfeld, Homeland and Dexter but I can't live without The Big Bang Theory. I could watch it all day every day. I could watch the same episode over and over and I never get sick of it. I've never had so many dying of laughter fits in my life.
I've heard "Breaking Bad" is really good but I could never bring myself to watch something with a mangled name like that. Of your list, I do like The Big Bang Theory and Family Guy.
But if I could choose anything from American TV, I'd probably go for a bit of X-Files, Twin Peaks, or Frasier. I never buy boxed sets, but I'd make an exception for the first four seasons of the X-Files. Just exceptional stuff.
If you like X-Files, check out Breaking Bad. A lot of the same people worked on both shows. Although they are pretty different.
But... but... the *name* of it! It hurts me! In my mind, I keep thinking "Smashing Naughty", "Fracturing Unpleasant", "Damaging Rancid". Maybe I should just get over it.
I'd reccomend trying. :P It's an awesome series. We kinda fell behind in watching it actually, need to finish it up so we can watch the new episodes. Shit's getting real.
I agree the name is not great, but it is a wonderfully well made show. Take Parrish's word on this. You know my musical taste is awesome :) So give it a shot.
