        One of the many advantages of being an atheist, apart from the fact that I know my brain is functioning, is that there's nowhere specific to make donations. What did you have in mind, anyway?

            I need every 10% of my meagre earnings, but when I was earning big money I used to support a young girl in Africa via World Vision, until I found out they push a christian agenda through their otherwise very worthwhile programs.

            I copped a bit of shit on here a few months back when I wrote that the gifts I'd given my family members on that christian festival in December were one half donations to programs in poor countries. They didn't mind at all, they've all got too much stuff anyway.

            So have I, and I give a lot of stuff away to op shops and local groups: eg food for free/low cost kitchens, warm clothes for the winter to another group and I'm about to give a couple of tents I no longer use to a group for homeless people.

            Now I guess you'll be cross if your response was a joke and I've replied seriously

    Hindu, Sikh, and Buddhism seem pretty cool from my limited knowledge on them. I don't really consider atheism as a religion, but agnosticism is better... Just my opinion

    athiesm isn't a religion and to many people Buddhism isn't either as it focuses on philosophy and knowledge rather than faith or anything spiritual, it seems to be a grey area
