Which parent do you get along with most?

I get along best with my mom. My dad... well, we won't mention my dad here (unless I want to use some language that would get me kicked off this site. :) ) Let's just stick with the fact that my mom is - and always will be - the better parent by a long shot.

my dad doesnt know barely anything about me and my mom and i fight all the time :/ so... neither...

I never even met my dad so definitely my mom.

My mom is an emotional abuser. I think she likes playing guilt trips, blaming others, and making you feel like shit.

My parents are divorced and I barely see my dad [2-3 times a month ):] and my mom has really been getting on my nerves lately, so it's a relief when my dad visits and i can get away for a few hours. Sure I love my mom but she's become to'hippy-ish' and spiritual for my tastes recently

My dad is a great man, but there are some things I just can't tell my dad. He chose to distance himself somewhat from my siblings and I. I think he likes to be thought of as an outsider. I don't understand his priorities or his behaviour a lot of the time, but I still love him anyway. I try to focus on the good.

My dad thinks that I am anorexic, depressed, and anti-social. I have a lot of guy friends and he continuously asks if I have crushes on them. Completely inappropriate. He remarried when I was 11, and always loved his new wife more than me. Mommy please.

My dad is a stoner so he is always fun to talk to, shows me what pot/weed he has at the time, always a joint in his mouth its funny.

My mom. She gets possessed by the devil every once in a while but I love her so.

I get along with whichever one I'm not living with at the time. As soon as I'm staying with my dad, my mom becomes this really sweet and caring person while my dad is a total dick. When I'm staying with my mom, my dad becomes the coolest and most fun relative ever while my mom is callus and mean.

I don't get along with anyone in my family

i say its pretty even, although i talk about more private matters with my mother than with my dad. hes just dad. not a good listener. lol

If you asked me a few years ago, I would have definitely picked 'Dad'. Now my dad and I have a 'restrained' relationship, meaning that we're both at a loss on what to talk about now. Seeing us now, you wouldn't believe how we were 'best friends' before. I don't feel too comfortable talking to him anymore either, but we're still on 'ok' terms, I guess.

I was deathly afraid of my mother a few years ago, and would shudder at the idea of even talking to her. But one day, we suddenly clicked (thanks to a KFC meal we ate together, lol) and from then on we were on good terms. I still hate it when she nags though.

So I get along with both of my parents...

My dad because my mom has started becoming very irritating to me. She is also a little rude, blunt, and selfish.

I don't get along with any of my family. I am just waiting to find out i'm adopted or something.

My mum lives hours away so I only see her, at most, once a month, but I see my dad practically every day, so it's probably him.

He also showed more support when I really needed it (not that my mum didn't support me, or at least tried to, but she didn't understand as she couldn't see what I was going through).

My step mom and my step dad...how's that for disfunction...I wished they were my parents all along.

My dad- he's a lot more calmer and in control. I am more like my mom- irritable with a temper so we don't get along as well. Dad's a good counterbalance to my negative aspects. Plus we have similar interests. We can spend all day in Nature without getting bored( my mom gets bored) and we often spend the evenings playing chess together and drinking cognac. He's cool- although he can be real annoying too.

Pretty sure dad hates mom. I get along with him.
I hate my mother with a passion and if I had it my way I'd slit her throat with the knife that she left in my back.
Call me terrible, but you'd have to live my life to know why I feel what I feel.

def my mom... i can talk to her about anything without her being judgmental. my kids are also very close to her. my dad on the other hand is very hard to get along with just mite be a lil bipolar.

Definitely my mom. My mom and I have been through so much what my real dad put us through, we're like best friends because of it.

I'd say mom... My dad is a hard worker and all he thinks of is work work work!! I have a strong mother to son bond more than father to son bond! Doesn't means I hate my father... He's never really home
