    Both pretty bad, and both can get you places lower than rock bottom physically and mentally. But sex addiction, as in sexual intercourse, can get you plenty of STDs too.

    They are the same thing, and so is an addiction to pornography.

    Technically it's all sex addiction.

      The brain only has one reward mechanism. Technically all addictions are the same.

    Addiction is a problem with reward mechanisms in your brain which cause issues in your life.

    Trying to differentiate addictions as better or worse than one another is futile. Once someone is addicted to something that's how they gain pleasure and it becomes overwhelming.

    It overtakes their lives until they get some kind of treatment to gain control of the activity so that the brain can heal.

    Addiction to anything is horrible.
