Which do you feel has had a bigger impact upon the world?

When you count up the monstrous number of British bands, it far exceeds the amount of great American movies. British music wins easily ;)

Music all the way. sorry but movies wouldn't be half as good without background music, and Britain is so adorable with there little cups of tea :D
We need more options, like British television shows.
I mean sure, I like British music - Prog Rock, Punk, 90s - but I haven't listened to modern stuff from them yet.
But if you include TV shows I'll be all over that in a heart beat. I'd much rather watch Doctor Who than any American TV show.
As an American, I vote for the British, because there are hardly that many great movies. Tons of good ones, but I'd rather spend my time listening to good music.
Not hard to decide? Bullcrap. If you don't live in either of the countries in question, how could you ever decide?
Music and movies today are extremely boring. Musicians and movie makers have ran out of good ideas for music and films. They ran out of ideas so they alter the old movie types for example Twilight.
