      • Yeah, that's true. It would be something you'd have to try work on to get over, but atleast you'd have that opportunity.

  • I would kill myself. I’ve seen firsthand the affect war has on people’s psyche. Even if they make it out, they’re never the same. So basically you’re asking would you rather have PTSD or die.
And as someone who already has PTSD from other non war experiences, I’d rather just die than experience another trauma.

I'd take my chances with the Army. Roughly one in ten of the British empire soldiers who served in France and Flanders died of wounds or disease.

And it wasn't the case that soldiers spent all their time in the front-line trenches. Figures show that British troops in France and Flanders during WWI spent about half their time in the trenches, and were subject enemy fire on average one day in five during their time on the front.

It was an utterly ghastly experience in many ways, but getting sent to France was not a sentence of certain death.

the men in WW1 were drafted , in fact it was illegal to speak of the war unfavorable due to the federal sedition act. No one Joined the trenches. Men of ww2 were drafted , korea, men of vietnam were drafted. you see a pattern yet?

Being in the trenches for 4 years isn't a guaranteed death. I would take my chances.

Do the honorable thing and fight in the trenches, because I don't want to be a pathetic coward of a punk ass biatch.

    • Not wanting PTSD and a lifetime of psychosis isn’t cowardly.
