Which of these do you prefer?

So, I've recently been pretty much in love with all of these songs below (at least more so than usual), and I was curious as to which song out of the following you'd label as your favourite. And why you prefer that song.:)

And by favourite, I mean out of these songs, not out of every song there is. Although you can tell us all your favourite songs in the comments if you want.

If you dislike all of them, then feel free to comment anyway telling me how terrible you think my taste in music is:P!

For No One- the Beatles 6
Bohemian Rhapsody- Queen 30
Perfect Day- Lou Reed 5
The Boxer- Simon and Garfunkel 1
Comfortably Numb- Pink Floyd 16
Lullaby- The Cure 2
There is a Light That Never Goes Out- The Smiths 3
Ziggy Stardust- David Bowie 4
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

    Short-circuit Poll

All of those song have played a part in my life, seriously. My little passion in there is Lullaby, which is possibly my absolute favorite The Cure song. No, I lie, it's not, but let's say it was the one that I loved more intensely and the longest, ah, his tongue in my eye...

    For No One.

It's one of those I grew up to and can hear it whole in my head and I still want to listen to it after all this time. That's my choice this morning. I'll come back in the afternoon. :)

I see, Doktor Mengele, now you're coming at me. Think I haven't see you do experiments with other users like "what's your favorite toe? We're going to spare it". "How about your favorite arm? I shall only cut the one you like the least". I even saw the evilest of all, "what's your one favorite sense, touch, sight, smell, taste or hearing? Well, that's the one you'll lose." This poll in itself is one of those experiments. Such a pretty face... Who would've thunk.

I guess you got me. I have WW II feelings all over again.

I'll come back. I'm listening to my top 40 The Cure songs to decide ;)

I like a lot of songs, but my favourite of all time is definitely "Baa Baa Black Sheep" by Anonymous.

  • YES A SMITHS FAN!!!! Ohh but honestly you do have some great picks; you can never go wrong with Pink Floyd, Freddie Mercury has the voice of an angel, and David Bowie is just too fucking cool especially as Ziggy

You scoundrel! Like I could pick one of those. Impossible. Rather than pick one and disappoint the others, I'm going to choose The Killing Moon by Echo and the Bunnymen. It seems to follow me around. It was in Donnie Darko and also Grosse Point Blank. Plus it's the only song you hear my namesake in Misfits listening to. :)

Hey, if we're doing Donnie Darko, I want Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart!!! Maybe we could let it roll over to Mad World. :P

If that was not the idea, Hey, Na... err, I mean, OP! I had an idea!

      • Haha, evil!¬_¬ You really are a good spy:O! Also, I'm always obvious. But, yes Na-, um I mean OP agrees:D! Great idea:P!

But if we're going Donnie Darko soundtrack, you have to include this:

Charlotte Sometimes!!!!!! It suits you so fine :D

I wasn't saying the song was boring at the time. I remember I just fell asleep while watching/listening to it. Haha.. Never got to tell you because I got busy listening to all of The Cure, to never come back.

Oh, I had many things to say in that other post as well, but I have a feeling there will always be much to say to you, sweet banana! You're so easy to talk to, but I don't think I can keep up, especially now that there are bits here and there in each of those comments; I completely lost track!! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!! :)

    • Me? a scoundrel:O? Haha, I didn't even realise that this would be a little bit evil when I made it (at least to you anyway:P). I thought it would be interesting to see what IIN members would choose, I guess:).

      Anyway, nice choice!

Out of those I have to pick queen. I listen to that song a lot. But I love pink Floyd too. That's a good song from them but I like a few others more than that one. Like have a cigar, run like hell, welcome to the machine, time, mother. I like the other choices too but I never really cared for the cure or the Beatles.

Hahaha well, I was in doubt between The Cure and The Beatles to make up for that and maintain the equilibrium of the music world.

    • Nice Pink Floyd choices:). Especially Time, that's definitely one of my favourites, if not my favourite, from them. It usually would have made it onto the list instead of Comfortably Numb, but I've just been more into that song at the moment.
