Hi there. I just recently got a Netflix account. I'm watching 5 shows at the moment, but not really satisfied with them. I heard all 3 of those are good. Which one do you like best?

Breaking bad. Best series ever made. Check out house of cards too though it's really good
The Walking Dead! or Doctor Who. The only shows I care about. Although I hear Orange is the New Black is Good.
Supernatural is a teen soap (boring and formulaic), not much to write home about. Certainly nothing like the award winning Breaking Bad.
Breaking bad is pretty slow and boring, you kind of just watch it to see what happens.
Supernatural is one of my favorite TV shows of all time, though it kind of starts slow in the first season or two.
Jeeze...out of your list, I guess I would chose breaking bad. Supernatural looks like utter fucking shit. House of cards is ok; I actually didn't get past a few episodes because it was overly contrived. Breaking bad...the first season or so, fucking amazing, after that the plot gets a bit ridiculous...I guess my biggest problem with that show was that I didn't sympathize with a single character after the first season.
Walking dead is if course my favorite. Orange is the new black was really fucking good. Dexter and Californication are pretty good; so is archer....BUT the best fucking show I've ever watched on netflix, by miles and miles is the French version of "the returned." Omfg it was so amazing- so dark, so creepy! They tried to do some bullshit American spin of that sucked.
Yeah I agree with what you said about Breaking Bad, I had my reservations about it after season 1 but people kept telling me it got better. I got to the end of season 3 where I lost complete interest. I found all the characters to be unlikeable, their actions reprehensible and I just didn't understand their motivations anymore. That was probably the point of the show, their descent into the drug world and the consequences of that on their lives and personality, but it was done in such a ridiculous way which wasn't entertaining for me, just uncomfortable. We must be in the minority on this because it's been phenomenally popular and has won so many emmys.
Breaking Bad hands down. Supernatural is meh, but if it's your fancy go for it. House of Cards is also a niche taste in my opinion, you have to have a thing for politics. Note that BB does have its slow moments and the scenes with the family tend to wear you down a bit because it's more of the same "Don't do bad things, do good things" schtick over and over again. (Apart from Beneke, and that's all I'll say about that to prevent spoilers) Be patient, soak in the important details of those scenes and enjoy the rest of the ride, because it is a roller coaster ride at times. "Science, bitch!"
I didn't get into Supernatural, but, with the exception of one or two I'd never heard of, everything everyone mentioned I enjoyed and I think are worth giving a shot. I don't have cable or even regular tv so Netflix pretty much IS my tv.
I'd also add Parks and Recreation, Futurama and Scrubs for some lighter, feel-good veiwing.

Really love the whole prolonged drug sequence towards the end it was actually quite powerful, plus they played death grips's no love over some of it so extra points for that.
Gonna be a long wait for season 2 :(
Supernatural and Breaking Bad are great but I would say go for Breaking Bad first. Unlike Supernatural it knew when to end and it closes everything off well without feeling like it's dragging which Supernatural ended up doing after season 6 even though the show would of been better off ending by season 5.
So, Breaking Bad and then Supernatural.
I have to strongly disagree with you. I think Supernatural gets better with every single season. And they manage to keep every single episode of every single season fresh and new, and it doesn't get caught in the same boring plot that needs to just stop, which prevents me from continuing to watch shows like CSI, Law and Order, Bones, and NCIS.
I actually think it's amazing how they come up with new things to put into Supernatural, to keep each episode unique and interesting week after week.
And as far as comparing Breaking Bad to Supernatural like that, I think you can't. The distinction you make is more like a reason to watch Breaking Bad over Weeds. Now THAT was a show that had no business to keep going.
But imo, I never want Supernatural to end. The give and take between Sam, Dean, their accomplices and enemies never gets old. And they are always finding new monsters/bad guys to face, and in different ways.
But everyone has their different tastes. I for one, have watched all 9 seasons of Supernatural twice in the last year, I just can't get enough of it.
I really like Breaking Bad. I'd definitely recommend it. I've never tried Supernatural - I just don't think it's for me - and House Of Cards didn't hook me in when I gave it a go. I'd recommend Orange Is The New Black. I'm watching Fargo too, which I'm enjoying so far. Ultra tense and suspenseful, cinematic TV seems to be the trend at the moment (Breaking Bad, Fargo, House Of Cards... etc.), and while a lot of it seems vapid and stylistic without substance I think Breaking Bad is definitely above that.

I like Supernatural because there isn't much human on human violence and there isn't much graphic language. I haven't seen all seasons so it may not be that good any more. I just can't keep up with watching T.V. for long because it's all lackluster, boring, garbage!
That said, I do watch some programs, I just can't follow them through.
