Which is worse?

Which of these two things to you think is the greater travesty committed against the American people?

Option A: Terrorists based thousands of miles away plan and execute a terror attack on US soil killing about 3,000.

Option B: The President of the United States, elected and entrusted by the American People to serve and protect them exploits the above event to gain support for a war in Iraq that kills about 4,500 US soldiers, wounds about 33,000, and resulted in the loss of 150,000 - 200,000 human lives.

Option A 7
Option B 20

Not only did the POTUS and VP exploit 9/11... they made up lies about Iraq having WMDs to justify it. Dick Cheney went to the NYT and anonymously said there are WMDs in Iraq, then the next day he cited that article as evidence that there are WMDs in Iraq -"Look even the NYT is saying it!". All the while he had a medical condition he knew impaired brain function. He should be hung for his war crimes, instead Fox News has him on to hear his opinions about what we should do next in the Mid-East.

P.S. the idea that we need to intervene in the Mid-East because they have oil, is ludicrous. We only get about 15% of our oil from the entire Persian Gulf (and we export a ton ourselves). Meanwhile gas has gone up 4x.

P.P.S. Israel has the 3rd most powerful military in the world and a hundred nukes. They can take care of themselves. We don't need to do anything other than sanctions. ECONOMIC INTERDEPENDENCE among countries is the only proven way to peace.

We're going to have a competition using human tragedies?

    Pretty sick game.

Don't forget the trillions we spent that could've gone elsewhere.
