Which in general is better, north or south. I am not talking about the American north or south, British north or south, Irish north or south, north or south Korea or any place in particular.
Everywhere and anywhere you live or have been, no matter how big the area, which in general do you think is better, the north or south?

Neither. It varies wildly depending on where you're looking and what you're measuring - 'better' in what way?

I don't understand what you're asking. If you aren't talking about any place in particular, than it's all relative to how you define "north" and "south".
In Italy, the South is full of old people and gangsters. Sounds pretty awesome to me.
In the probably late 1800's, the North General of America (Civil War) was General Ulessys (is that how you spell it?) Grant. The South was General McClellan (I forgot his first name). During this time, I'll choose General Grant because I hate slavery and this is a free country!
I'm partial to the south because I've been here my whole life. I don't have much to say about people that put sugar in their grits and not in their tea ;)
I think the north usually has a reputation for being more developed, more contemporary and more open to difference. The south is seen as simpler, more slow-paced and friendly. But, since the population has gone way up is South U.S.,there is little difference between these regions now. The incest slow life is now confined to West Virginia.
The middle? If I had to pick I would say North based on places I've been to (mind you, not NK).
