    I didn't know who the BTK killer was so I had to google it, but as soon as I saw the pictures it was very clear that Chris Bauer, the guy who played Frank Sobotka on The Wire should play him.

      He would have to play it as a supporting role, though. Chris Bauer isn't a leading actor. Neither is Jeffrey Dean Morgan for that matter. There would have to be another actor playing the main character tracking him down.
