Now i know there are A LOT of Final Fantasy games that are awesome, personally i like almost all of them. But i figured i'd just list the most popular ones and if anyone has a favorite that isn't listed you can just leave a comment, thanks!

    I've only played FF, FFXIII and some other one. Personally I found FF far more my style than any of the others but I can still see their appeal. FFXIII has beautiful graphics but its storyline is too rigid.

    FF6 definitely. Maybe FF9 would be my second favourite. FF7 was okay, but overrated, 4 is mediocre and pretty badly dated, 1 is not worth playing (at least in the original NES form, I haven't tried the GBA remake), and 8 is utter crap - beautiful graphically, but has horrible gameplay.

    FF1: Haven't played enough to have a valid opinion.
    FF6: Same as above...
    FF7: Didn't like the story.
    FF8: Annoying game mechanics.
    FF9: Not on the list, but this is my favourite. A very traditional RPG.
    FF10: This one is great too.
    FF12: Annoying battle mechanics.

    Haven't played FF13 or Crisis Core.
