Which drug do you believe is the worst type of drug, perhaps in your own personal experiences, in terms of both effect and addictiveness? Please feel free to list anything that I may have missed.

Alcohol. I say alcohol because it is the easiest drug to gain, and it's completely legal, regardless of how much death it causes. It puts the user and the people around them in danger. I don't see how Marijuana can be illegal for being portrayed as "a danger to people and others around them" when alcohol has always done it more.
I agree. Alcohol tends to kill more people who aren't under the influence.
Hah, tell that to the 50,0000 people who have died in Mexico's drug cartel wars in the past 6 years. Yes, 6 years. Tell that to everyone who's been killed for a few dollars by some dope head, or some dope dealer who got killed for his dope. Or all the bystanders who get caught in the crossfires of any street gang or cartel in any country, which are funded by drugs.
About 10,000 people die in alcohol-related crashes per year but about 7,000 of those people are the drunks themselves, the rest are other passengers or other motorists.
I don't think it's even close to being in the running against any illegal drug. Illegal drugs kill more innocent people than users themselves BECAUSE they're illegal.

Sorry, it was 50,000, typo!! Still, in 6 years for drug trade alone, it substantial. And they're not all dealers, they kill families, anyone who is in the way.
Yeah it's a huge deal, the Mexican drug wars, it's in the news all the time, it's horrifying. You should watch some videos on it and see how these people are just slaughtered.
I had no idea it had such a big impact! There isn't any drug traffic violence around where I live, or any drug cartel.
I'm assuming OP means worst as in doing the most direct harm to the user, as opposed to this discussion which is enlightening in itself, but which also seems more political and therefore further reaching than the OP may have intended (but discussions go where they go!). But to this end, there was quite a bit of the same when prohibition came out in terms of illegal drug trade goings-on pertaining to when alcohol was illegal.
Humans can die of excessive consumption of alcohol in itself. They can die of alcohol poisoning. Alcohol affects their motor skills, senses and judgment so they make bad decisions and cannot function normally, therefore putting themselves and others in danger, and the substance itself is highly addictive. These are the ways in which marijuana on it's own is the least harmful of all of these listed, and is much less of a drug than a plant, especially compared to many prescription drugs that are much harsher on one's system and exponentially more addictive. It's quite a big business too, and a large part of the reason the "illegal" "drugs" remain illegal, claiming "harmful effects", not giving any evidence supporting the claim and then refusing to hear any of the mountain of evidence of scientifically proven facts to the contrary.
Krokodil.... It is very easy and cheap to make. It's a heroin substitute that is even more addictive.

Heroin. It's like a form of synthetic suicide, a living death... a person doesn't just wake up one day and think it might be fun to stick a needle in their arm. They come to that place after a long road of shit luck, bad times, or inescapable traumas. They choose it because that level of anesthesia is the only thing (in their mind) that might make them feel okay.
I've known a few heroin addicts. It's not always the people you would expect, and it's not pretty.
Meth. Hands down.
The main reason any of the drugs on your list are dangerous is because they're illegal.
Though I tend to agree with you about meth being the worst, some of the drugs on the list are much less harmful than their legally prescribed equivalents in the trillion-dollar pharmaceutical industry.
Also, marijuana (though now being legalized in some states under medical use or what have you) was criminalized in the 1920s by corporate supergiant Dow because they learned how cheaply (hemp) paper could be produced from the plant, and they realized the manufacture of the other myriad uses of the versatile, naturally growing plant would eat a little bit into their megafortunekingdom, so they criminalized the entire plant.

Why do you consider meth to be more dangerous than the drugs on my list?
Because it causes instant psychosis. Because people make it in their home with their kids living there. It causes people to go bananas, almost 100% of the time. They kill themselves and others because they go nuts or just do stupid shit. It truly destroys people's brains pretty much instantly, many times permanently.
Alcohol is by far the worst because it is so widely used and forced down the throats of people. When u watch a movie, you see people drinking at parties and at work and it's a horrible influence on children.... It destroys families and accidentally creates them too. Alcohol is the worst drug.
How did you leave out meth?
Ive known more people to ruin their lives to meth than any other drug. It might not even be the worst one for you but it causes the most damage to society.
Another one you forgot is PCP. People do the craziest shit on that. Stabbing their eyes out, eatting their babies, and slicing their face off with shards of glass and feeding it to their dog.
And the most potent drug known, Datura. Its even legal because nobodys dumb enough to do it.
So top 3 drugs arent on your list.

Meth isn't as bad as the commercials make it to be, but over using it willmess you up I started to pick at the skin, I was awake 3 days straight I thought I was turning schitzophrenic hearing voices and hollucinating, I looked at my uncles dog and he looked like he was made out of sqaure blocks, then the weirdest thing happened to me days later when I wasn't hallucinating, I saw a shadow person, it was definitely a real ghost. But those days are done. Id have to say heroin or alcohol for the 2 worst.
Out of that list no question heroin. Weed is not a bad recreational drug (I don't smoke anymore) but it's ok, but becoming a pothead(a chronic smoker) no pun intended, is definitely not good for you.
If we are going by the nature of the drug and it's effects on the human body, my notion would be that heroin first and then meth a close second.
Regarding heroin: it seems to me like the most dangerous drug because not only are you subjecting yourself to random infections/diseases via injection, the drug will slowly kill your body. From what I've read and seen, it seems like it's a drug that once it has you in it's grip, it's tough to overcome the addictions, as compared to other drugs with a higher chance of overcoming. I've seen videos about heroin and it does NOT look promising for individuals who abuse it regularly, which is really sad.
I don't know a whole lot about all of them, so correct me if I'm wrong but those two drugs I mentioned seem like the worst overall (addiction and effects on the body).

the things that have made me feel the worse, that ive taken are speed and coke, really hate that shit just gets me annoyed - perfect definition - just bummed and irritated at anything, really agressive.
LSD can be certain death to the weak minded.
Ecstasy aswell, but quite less, ecstasy is a silly drug so it doesnt really affect you unless you do ALOT of it
Alcohol is definitely the worst drug, at least in my young mind. Druggies hide, alcoholics are proud and thing they're so fucking righteous simply because their drug is sold at every caffe, supermarket, restaurant, etc. Alcohol is in everyone's face and thats why its such a horrible problem you finally realize it is one.

weed, yes, seriously. yeah, there are shit drugs like meth and crack, and all of them will eventually do you in. But I just hate potheads, so it's personal.
The most dangerous drug is MDPV (also known as Super Coke!). Super Coke! is extremely addictive and can kill. Super Coke! is so bad, exclamation points show up and the first letters are capitalized whenever you type it. Alcohol is somewhere in the top ten deadlies drugs, with deaths totaling over 80,000 per year.
A lot other drugs have withdrawal too. It just comes down to how the user wants to get it in really/drug of choice.
The worst drug? I'm going by my personal experience and I've done em all. I would say heroin. Quiting the drug is very difficult because of the withdrawal, it's like that with any opiate really. Opiate meaning, perks, oxys and so on. Any questions I'd be happy to share.
Out of those, heroin. In general, I think methamphetamine has had a much more substantial impact on the user, as well as people around the user of meth.

from your list heroin and i wouldn't say coke is second because LSD is one hell of a drug it may not be addictive or known to cause brain damage, but the things that stuff could have you doing is crazy
Ecstasy, it might not be the strongest, but its relatively cheap and easily acquired by teenagers, but unlike marijuana, you can overdose and die from ecstasy.
Well I've tried all but heroin on the list and I think ecstasy, at least in the pill form, is the worst. You never know what could be in it... Before I tried cocaine I thought it was really terrible but once I actually tried it I noticed that the horror stories were mostly untrue.

Mostly just about people spending all their money on it and becoming addicted. I have never really craved cocaine (except on the come down) since trying it but then again I've probably only used it about 10 times in 2 years. I could easily go the rest of my life without ever doing it again. Alcohol on the other hand...
In the UK we use heroin (diamorphine) instead of morphine in hospitals. It is a really powerful analgesiac.
