I don't think there's anyone in the world I trust not to judge me. That would require unconditional friendship, which is something I don't have with anyone.

My parents understand me to a greater extent than anyone else. I think my dad does slightly more than my mum, but that's to be expected because we're more similar. My girlfriend understands me to a certain level, but not very deeply. My closest other friends understand me to a fairly shallow level, and I think only one has any deep understanding of me (he's very clever and has a deep understanding of everyone). Even I don't understand me all the time, and I judge myself more critically than anyone else judges me.

Some people here probably have a good understanding of me - if you read all my comments you would probably have a better understanding of me than anyone in the world. I'm more open here than in real life, and I'm more likely to talk about things that are close to me here as opposed to just having fun and wasting time with friends. I usually deal with the most serious problems by myself rather than feel like I'm inflicting them on other people, although there are notable exceptions.

I feel like I've read similar sentiments on this site before. Beneath all the layers of ridiculous questions, some of them give you the opportunity to explore your own self in ways that may not happen with a friend or family member.

There are people who never judge me but understand me? I think the only time I've felt that way was when I saw a therapist.

  • Nobody has ever really cared about my feelings from what I've observed. That's how I got so crazy, my feelings and personality were just left to run wild from birth until now. My girlfriends always said I seemed quite complex but never went further, my parents never get involved in "emotional" issues, all friends I've had were impersonal realtionships, my dog just looks concerned when I feel out of sorts.

For me it's a tie between family and stuff that I pretend understands me (in my case my imaginary friends)

My husband. He has a unique level of understanding human emotion and drive and somehow never judges people for it. I think many of our friends would agree as they always seek him out when they are feeling troubled. It can get tiring to have someone always picking at your inner psychology, but it's always out of love. Thankfully I have a girl friend to help balance that out who drinks wine with me and let's me vent about my husband without assuming the worst. The two of them understand me better than I understand myself, but just watch me figure myself out in my own time.

my 3 year old daughter is the most understanding, non-judgmental person i have every met. Of course, she'll probably hate me when she turns 15.

My sister, i can tell her anything. She has done some really bad things, so of course she won't judge me.

However, i don't have anyone really that won't judge the people i love and the things i do for them. My friends judge my sister and my boyfrienf, my boyfriend judges my sister and my friends, my dad judges my sister and my boyfriend, my sister judges my friends, friends judge other friends, etc. As long as everyone around me is judging one another, I can never be completely content. I have so many people who i love and love me, but to put them all in one room together, in their eyes, would mean war.

Probably my husband and my best friend. My husband is an angel though, he's usually very non-judgemental and unassuming. My friend is very liberal but she'd rightfully be critical if I told her I was cheating on my husband and didn't at least have a damned good reason for it.

it really depends on the person. i cant fit them all into a category. for example, i could tell my dad almost ANYTHING(which i am very thankful for), but me and my mom are so different we barely understand half the things the other says or does.
