I'm the middle child, and I'm happy with it. I think birth order does have an influence, but it's not the be all and end all, and it suits me just fine. My older sister really goes against the typical oldest child traits, and in a lot of respects I'm sort of treated like the oldest, if that makes sense? So I actually feel like the middle/oldest child, which might sound a bit stupid or insulting to my oldest sister, but it's not supposed to be.
You can definitely tell that my little sister, the youngest, is actually the youngest, in my opinion.
So, for me, whatever I am is best for me, I guess. My little sister probably likes being the way she is, though. I'm really not sure which the best is. The youngest? That's not something I'd want to be, though.
Older child has more pressure to set a good example for younger sibs, but they also have more freedom.
I am the oldest and have been under so much pressure because of my parents. They also had a fear of losing me or something bad happening to their first child. My younger brother, on the other hand, was allowed to do what ever he wanted.
studies show that the oldest is usually more of an extrovert than younger siblings. plus with my brother my dad showed an interest. then with my sister he was losing interest by the time i came along he couldn't give a Fuck
Well my brother was the middle child and he turned out the absolute best out of the 3 kids, had the most friends that he got to do the most stuff with, turned out with a better personality, got the most leniency and privileges, got away with the mots things, was never blamed for anything, and is now married and graduating from medical school this semester.
