    Beethoven. Some of their stuff is great. Don't think much of the drummer, though. You can't even hear him over the piano.

    Most of these bands seriously suck. There's only about 4 or 5 I would even listen to regularly.

    Why would anyone choose the Beatles...?
    I chose Apocalyptica... Anyone who can cover songs on cellos and make it sound amazing like them, then they are better than all of them. xD
    I also like Within Temptation, Nightwish, Epica. AMAZING!!!

              Linkin Park is one of the most mainstream bands there is.

              Slipknot is definitely the most mainstream Nu-metal Band there is. Lay off the crack.

    Great to see Tom Petty on the list. He is well-known but extremely underrated in my opinion. He is one of the best American rock songwriters of all time and a damn cool guy. I would personally list him with the Heartbreakers as they are a true band and a bunch of talented musicians.

    His live box set that came out a couple of years ago is amazing.
