I love surreal art, if done right, it gives me sort of an "otherworldly" feeling.

Also, fururism and dadism are cool.

(Rant) I agree with how some modern art is just a couple of lines and a circle, and theyre is some "deep" meaning attached to this. Its stupid.

for that matter,do all works of art even need a meaning? Maybe I just was bored and felt like doing something.

if it has one, cool, but i need to see it, not just because you say it does. (Rant over)

Okay; I acciedently put Romantism, but what I meant to put was Romanesque. It's a little depressing to see that I'm the only oen who chose that considering it holds the most beautiful art work of all time and partly my obsession, but oh well, we can't all have good taste xP

Expressionism reminds me of my dreams. More so than surrealism.

  • I love minimalism. For me personally, it gives me so much more of an opportunity to really grasp the meaning. Probably because I get perplexed very easily.

I would say the Renaissance though my way of writing has much of a Romanticist or Modernist style, I could sometimes say I still live in the Renaissance. BTW I live Darío and Becquer, one Modernist and the other Romantic. When it comes to poems from the Baroque or sooner I find it annoying how authors forced language in a way to make it almost impossible to comprehend.

I like realistic paintings. Or at least something that shows the artist really has talent, not such good connections.

Modern art on the other hand is usually awful... A couple of circles and a random line and voilà, it's a very expensive painting that demonstrates the surrealistic feelings and development of humanity through primitive intentions over addiction and... other stuff. :D

Definitely Baroque. The two composers I admire most (Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Lucio Vivaldi) are from the Baroque Period.

Bach composed some of the most difficult, artistic and intellectually deep music ever written. He wrote masterpieces in virtually every form of music that existed during his day (With the exception of Opera, for which he never wrote any). He's also the most accomplished composer in Fugue, a form that is so difficult to write that even some of the greatest composers like Mozart and Beethoven, hated writing them.

Vivaldi is considered Italy's greatest Baroque composer. He works are very innovative as he brightened the formal and rhythmic structure of the concerto. Bach was also deeply influenced by Vivaldi's work. Vivaldi's most famous work is a set of 4 Violin Concertos known as, " The Four Seasons ".

I generally love Bauhaus paintings because of the intrigue. It's colorful and odd. I feel like that would be me. Great poll! :D
