Which area in the usa is best to live: the north or the south

Ok. So one thing about me is that I travel a lot. I am originaly from the deep south but I have always been a big fan of the northern cities like New York City and Philly. I have visited Both cities many times and have been jealous of the cool opportunities they have like amazing schools of the art, diversity and just an overall a faster way of living. I embrace while others turn it away. I say I like the north better some say the south but what do YOU think? Please comment :D

The north is a better place to live. The south is more fun, it has cooler people. I live in the south. I choose south

I've seen a good part of the country and there is no place that will compare to the people and geography of the Northwest. It is often overlooked and we prefer to keep it that way.

It depends if you are talking about climate or jobs. Since no where has a good job rate in the USA. If you want weather somewhere with a lot of beaches maybe CA and if you are looking for work go to Texas but they have the bad climate.

My BIGGEST problem with bigger cities in the north is that its expensive! a good condo in Manhattan would be like 400,000 at the least... and its really small but in the south you can get a freakin mansion thats spacious and really decked out with that amount of money lol. It seems like you would have to have a couple jobs just to make ends.

The North is better than the south, but it too has its fair share of problems. I'll have to go with choice number 2:)

If I lived there, I think I'd choose Alaska in the summer, New England in autumn, back to Alaska for winter, and then Captain Kyle's beer store for spring break. Where is he, anyway? :/

You mean where does he live? Missouri. Or do you mean why hasn't he been on much? He is busy but says he will be back in full force soon.

I hope so. Him, djpatties and jweezee have been a bit quiet recently. I miss them. Actually so has flutterhigh, dom180 and ItDuz. Do you think males are dying out and we're the last two, and all the females are zombies? :O

I'm still here, although admittedly quiet. Checking in, as it were :) It's not even a conscious choice on my part to say less and I'm still reading just as much (if not more, because I'm spending less time commenting :P). I've missed the others though; I've seen ItDuz around a bit still but a lot less of all the others :( Seems like times are are a-changing, again.

Of course, I could be a female zombie spy planning to... er... "come for your heads"... o_O

As long as you don't leave us completely. I have my periods of lurking too. It can be nice sometimes to watch the world go by, especially when it's people you know.

I always wonder if I comment too much. I tend to have "off" days like today where I deliberately don't comment until everyone else has had a chance. I used to do it every other day, but it's more like one day in three now. I need to ease back a bit.

:O Now I think you *are* a female zombie spy. Or maybe the humidity is playing tricks with my brain. Either way, I'm weirdly thrilled!

I am not a zombie! Although I am pretty scary at times.

I can only hope so. Betters the odds for us, don't you think? Nah, I miss them too... And Shackleford.

God no, when there are only a couple of us left, they'll pass the vote for a female only society and then they'll come for our heads. And, I fear, not in the good way!

I have been in tight spots before. I always come out unscathed, I am starting to believe that I am in fact Indiana Jones.
