It's a good list and an interesting question. I really did have a good ponder on this and I chose Dali. I am a fan of those who define reality, but I'm a greater fan of those who understand what is beyond it.

Good choice. It's a shame that he isn't here today to write a thought provoking album on the state of the world today. Or, would he have sold himself out by this time?

Tupac believed everyone should have the same social and civil rights. With police brutality on the rise and the conflict in Ferguson. I suspect he would have had a huge impact on "urban youth".

        • Yeah tupac was a visionary and above all, a writer. A man of incredible talent that saw the hypocrisies as well as he expressed them.

          Comment Hidden ( show )
    • good one. so he could observe the state of hip hop? It's sold out big time. At least underground hip hop is still quality.

Tupac was greater then hip hop. That man divided a nation.

Absolutely serious. Just a few years after becoming a celebrity he (and the Beatles) were much, much more well known in the world than jesus christ ever was. With that kind of notoriety and a desire for a kind, peaceful world, what might he have been able to accomplish?

            Comment Hidden ( show )

        • The world always assassinates people of high ideology because they pose the greatest threat to those in power.

  • Petrichor.

There are too many opinions about the world already, it'd make do difference what any of those people think. I'd let them stay dead in that regard.

But, I would rather bring them back so they could tell me what - if anything - happens after you die. Now that would be extremely useful information.

      • Petrichor.

Maybe. But if soul just dies when we do, why do we even have them then? I mean, animals are soulless and they're alive, so why can't we live without them, too?

Sorry, I'm not asking you, that's just a random thought.

Unfortunately, I'm horrible with names. There was a mathematician who went insane trying to find an equation for God. He got so close he could taste it, then it all went to hell.. No pun intended. I wish I could remember his name. Anywho, with the information of today and our reaches into therapy, I wonder how it could turn for him. Not just on that issue, but others.

I am very attempted to say Adolph Hitler. But, instead, I'll have to go with Amelia Earheart, assuming she died, that is.

I chose her for two reasons. The first is that she used to be one of my role models when I was a child. The other is that her disappearance and the theories surrounding it have long held my fascination.

I'm not sure. There are some things happening nowadays that she might actually be okay with. That's part of the appeal of being able to bring her back. The excitement in not knowing.

I had so many more, but I thought I picked out the best. Also on my mind was:

          Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson,
          Antonio Lucio Vivaldi,
          Mary, Queen of Scots (obviously),
          Leonardo da Vinci,
          Galileo Galilei,
and Duncan Farquharson Gregory for style points due to his name.

          Edit: Oh yeah, Jesus too.
