Cue the banjos, folks.
I'm from Georgia, and I am in California right now. The twang is almost completely gone :P
I like to think that I'm from a magical place, but in reality I'm from North America.
The origin of myself (as with other complex organisms) is a complicated array of genetic as well as environmental factors. Whenever my parents performed the magical rituals necessary for reproduction, two microscopic gametes collided and began exchanging genetic information. Innumerable numbers of cell divisions then occurred over a period of approximately 0.75 the amount of time it takes for Earth to revolve around the Sun.
Afterwards, an underdeveloped form of myself began functioning. I collected nutrients from the environment to create ribonucleic acid that would eventually build proteins for growth. Therefore, I have come from the genetic material of my mother, the genetic material of my father, and substances in the outside world used to construct myself. Certainly there are other factors that come into play (such as connections in the brain to create the conscious "self"), so these are only the basics.
Then again, I could have always originated from an enchanted mole-person civilization, only to be exiled by the Chief Mole for an obscure physical mutation which happens to mimic the human form...
