Where do you think there is a greater biological development/ evolution? / Where does the most change occur / the greater difference between the 2 options?

Between the exact point when the sperm meets the egg, to where it grows into a 4 year old baby after birth, OR,

the difference between a 4 year old baby, to a grown adult of 40 years of age.

From when the sperm meets the egg to a 4 year old 35
From a 4 year old to a 40 year old 8

    My Human development modules at university were split into conception to birth and then birth to death, they are both as complex as each other.
