Where are the missing comments?

When I look at new posts on the main page, it will show say 3 comments for a particular post. When I click on the post to read it, there are no comments at all.

I need psychotherapy. 0
I'm really not here. 1
It's a technical problem with the board. 2
I was never breast fed 3
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

    Shadowbanned users can be commenting, or people delete their comments. When you delete your comment, the site acts like it was never deleted.
