Where are the good women today?

whatever happened to the good women today like we had years ago? many women now play so very hard too get, and many of them do certainly have such a very bad attitude problem nowadays. it is very hard to start a normal conversation with the one that i would like to get too know, since she will curse at me and threaten to call the police too. now that just goes to show me that women are certainly not like they were years ago, when they were certainly much more friendlier and a lot more easier too meet. i am not at all a shy man, and i am a straight man that is looking for a love life again, especially after having my wife of fifteen years that CHEATED on me. luckily no children, but i always had hoped for a family. going out at my age is certainly much more harder today, especially that i am in my late fifties now. if i had been 30 years younger, it would not be so bad. for me, time is certainly short, and being alone is not fun at all. are there any good places that i can go, other than the clubs? any suggestions, i will appreciate it.

    I'll tell you where we are.

    We're put off by the negative attitudes some men have, same as you're put off by the negative attitudes some women have.

    But do you see me lumping all men as bad? No. I'm well aware that there are great men out there, and I look forward to one day meeting one I can have a good relationship with. And leaving the baggage out of it.

      Currently, I come off as having this "negative" attitude that you are put off by. But I don't think most women accept where this negative attitude is coming from. It's because in the past two years alone, or I should say in a relationship, that was off/on I learned something: it did not nor does not matter who I am or what I do, women will respond to certain things. These are things women tell me not to do. And the same women that tell me they find it creepy, rude, mean, gross, whatever that such men do, are the ones who - when I am acting that way - decide to reward me with more love, respect, and intimacy than when I actually treat them with dignity and expect such reciprocity in return.

      Furthermore I see that men are not only supportive of anything that a woman does, says, or desires, but will blame even victims of abuse dealt by women as not being "man" enough to take it.

      Essentially what I am saying is, your comment is fine, great you are pulling the not all women are like that card, however you simultaneously admit you are like that, on top of blaming men for their reaction to realizing: all women are like that.

      When I have been the biggest pile of shit I've ever heard of existing, I've had more women flock to my bed to complain about their boyfriends as they were fucking me than when I was in a relationship accepting she was cheating on me with my shit together. Time and again I've had to avoid "love" and relationships because I know the moment I pretend what you - cue NAWALT - were doing to me while textting your boyfriend about how you loved him, is exactly what you're doing to the Other guy.

      It's amazing how women both defend their own slutty behaviors and blame guys who have been effected by it for having been effected by it.

    Uhh... if the women you're "trying to get to know" are threatening to call the cops on you, then there's something you're definitely not talking to us about. Something about this story regarding you being fifty, hitting on women that are threatening to call the cops on you and not understanding that maybe the age range of the women you hit on then and the range now might have something to do with the way they act kind of indicates to me that it may kind of maybe be... you.

        I know I really don't much care for men that are old enough to be my Dad hitting on me. In all honesty, some of them really don't take the hint and they can be a lot more persistent than they think they are and in a way, a lot more uncomfortable to be around. I strongly suspect that OP might be the type of guy that I just described.

    If it gets to the point where women are threatening to call the police on you, then you are clearly the problem. Not them. Calling the police is serious and people don't chuck around that threat for nothing.

    i have to agree with this guy, since there are so many low life loser women out there nowadays. with the attitude problem that many of you women have, it sounds to me that many of you must had been very badly abused by men at one time. but you should not take it out on us good men that are seriously looking to meet a good woman today, and have a love life again. i have noticed that much more women nowadays are into other women, and i can see why us straight men have a problem meeting a decent woman now.

    I'm not going to deny it. I find many women now adays to be fickle and hard to approach. I find this more with the newer generation though. My suggestion is to find a mature woman around your age, or even slightly younger. I don't know how old you are, but if your fishing for ladies in their 20's, you're fishing in a sea of 80% not what you're looking for. If you look for women in a bar/club, you will find the women you described. If you try someone at a library or coffee shop, you might find someone more suitable for a relationship. You could also put out an ad in the paper lol I've seen it done before! I know where swarms of lovely single ladies are where you'd never think to look, but it would be to damn weird to look there. That one would be the hospital. Nurses and such. The hospital is stock full of women with great jobs and no love lives. I work in the hospital and have met so many. Not that you're going to go there and look, but it's a true fact lol
