Whenever i go shopping my hands swell up.

Whenever i go shopping my hands get very itchy and they burn. They get swollen in the finger tips, but not enough to be noticeable unless i point it out to someone. I was wondering if it could possibly be an allergy to some sort of chemical or plastic in the plastic bags, but it even happens with normal non plastic bags, but only when im shopping. is this normal?

I don't know if it's normal or not but I've noticed the same thing when I go clothes shopping and try on clothes. My whole hands don't swell though, just my fingers. It may be from moving around so much, as exercise can cause swelling in the hands and feet.

my fingers swell too when i walk for a long time. it's just because you hands are held down for so long and the way you walk when you go shopping makes them sway back and forth faster thn normal. everybodys hands do it if they do that for long enough. i think it's totally normal. :)

Hi, it could be stress, allergies, or chemical imbalances. I for one, HATE shopping. If you get stressed easily, that could trigger it. Allergies to different bags or materials can trigger that as well. Chemical imbalances could also cause it, I think that certain moods kind of cause a chemical reaction within someone. So that could be the reasons. But I don't think it is anything serious; stress, allergies, and chemical reactions effect people differently.
