When your mother dies you will feel what?

Are you really close to your mom or something else? Relationships between mother and child are supposed to be one of the closest that you will ever have with another human being. But, many people are not on good terms with their mom. What about you?

I will dance a jig when my mom dies. 9
I really don't care one way or the other if my mom should die. 20
I will be totally heartbroken and devastated should my mom die. 86

I love my mommy i can't even bear the thought of her dying.D: She's 73 and im under 20 so she might not even get to see me get married. My mother has always be there for me no matter what. I love her to pieces and nothing would ever change that.

That's a really odd situation. Most women go through menopause before 50

My mom is useless. She was abusive to my grandparents and to a lesser degree myself.

    I hope she rots soon.

My mom died of leukemia, I was so sad I cried and cried but now she's in heaven she isn't sick anymore and she is very happy and is watching my sister, my brother, and I. Now I'm over it and if your mom dies, its okay to cry and tell someone how you feel or how they can help you while your struggling through something very heartbreaking. I miss my mom so much but I can still talk/communicate with her and share my feelings with her. She is always inside of me and she is not gone forever she is always here. :)

My mom hates me and she tells me every chance she gets. She was mean to me when I little and I have no feeling for her so if she died today YES I would be happy that finally I can live my life how I want with out her around to tell me im a dumb ass.

In my opinion my "SO CALLED MOTHER" DIED WHEN I WAS 13 AND SHE SAID I AM REALLY SORRY THAT I HAD YOU, PLEASE GET OUT OF MY LIFE. I DID I GOT FALSE IDENTIFICATION AND STARTED WORKING AND RETIRED AT 48, NOW 55 HAVE NOT TALKED TO HER SINCE AND NEVER WILL TO ME SHE IS DEAD, BURIED AND TOTALLY FORGOTTEN.

    • it doesn't seem like you've forgotten her. Seems like you have a lot of hatred toward her (for good reason) and still 40 some years later haven't been able to let that hatred toward her go.

        Hello Mikkixox:

Just read your answer to my post considering my mother, and you are correct. I want to be able to like her before it is too late. Sorry for imposing on you like this, but if you do not mind, I was wondering if you have any kinds of suggestions that might help me to possibly try and ressurect some kind of a relationship with her? Please I am sorry for laying this on you, but for some reason you seem like a person I can.

I find that extremely sad for you and I'm hoping she regrets saying that to you. In fact, she may even deny saying it - they have a strange way of re-writing history. You may want to make contact, even if you do find out that you were right to abandon her all those years ago. Or, you never know, she may have some redeeming qualities. However, just because she's older I wouldn't necessarily expect her to be sweeter. Good luck to you and I hope you've had a happy and successful life DESPITE your mother.

            Hello Joy Bird:

Thank you ever-so-much for your kind words, and yes, despite of my past, my life to me has turned out great. I have a loving and trusting Hubby, two wonderful twin sons; ages 31, and all of us if you do not mind me saying, have a strong relationship with the Lord. I have tried connecting with her, but she does not want to see me. That is all right, because I know in God's time, no matter how long it may seem, if it is His will we will reunite. I am happy with my life. Again thanks so much for your kind thoughts really appreciate them. Take care my friend.
