It's normal. Sometimes I'll even choose a really sad song that I know will make me cry because I want to cry when I'm sad.
I like sad songs because I can relate. Once I get that out of my system I listen to a cheerful song.
No because sad songs end up making you feel better, thats what they're for.
They reach into your room
Just feel their gentle touch
When all hope is gone
Sad songs say so much
I don't know if any of the music I like is "cheery" or "sad", I'll choose sad if that's what asmz is considered.
I usually get a group of friends together, go to the bars, and turn my phone off. So basically its extremely happy, energy filled music, and alcohol for me when i'm feeling down. I have a couple of friends that are amazing and can pick me up no matter what has happened to me!
There are different kinds for feeling down, but Cosmosquad,Stevie Ray Vaughn always does the trick.
