Thats a quote from some woman who's name eludes me at the moment. Anyway, I never had any labor pains. I got so fat, they were worried I have a 12 pound baby. (She was only 8.2) I had a scheduled c-section. Turns out I would have had to have one anyway. The baby never dropped and all that good stuff that's supposed to happen. I wanted to go all natural god damn it! Oh well.

its excruciataing!!! i actually asked the midwife to kill me and slash my wrists so the pain would stop. sometimes people in labour say the stupidest things,i was no exception!!! but the pain stops when the baby is born and its soooooo worth it!!!!!

It makes you feel like it would be ok to die, even if you don't believe in an afterlife. Seriously, while I was in labor, I kept thinking about women in the old days, how did they do it???? It fucking hurts!!
Some women are lucky, and don't have hideous labor pains, I hate them.
I can't even describe it. And there's this myth that you forget the pain afterwards, that's pretty much bullshit. That would be like forgetting what it felt like when someone put a blowtorch on your back every twelve minutes. I mean, really.

I was literally begging the doctors and nurses to kill me. I just kept begging to be killed. It is by FAR the worst pain you could ever imagine. I did end up getting the epidural though and it was heaven sent.Thank God for the epidural...

soooo true. i had my first natural wasn't too bad my second was a csection was a nightmare never been in soon much pain. when it was time for my third i had a scheduled csection and i went into labor the day before and had her natural thank god!
i would take natural birth over csection any day

Natural birth is way easier, than a c-section. I had one daughter without any "comfort" drugs nautally (22 hour labor), and the pain was amazing. I had my other two via c-section (emergency), and I wanted to DIE!!! I would rather give natural birth 30 times in a row than go thru one c-section!!!

Personally I found it bloody agonising!! this is without pain relief though, It was fine with gas and air.

I wonder about this alot. Some women say it's awful pain, others say it's moderate pain. I guess pain thresholds vary and there are lots of things that can influence ease of childbirth e.g. pelvis shape, how relaxed the woman is... so on. I cannot work out how a baby can come out of something so small, though!

i had one child naturally, not by choice, i got to the hospital too late for the epidural and would NOT RECOMMEDND IT. There's nothing beautiful about it. it felt like my worst menstrual cramps times 100, and i had all back labor so i had spasms in my spine too. it was horrible. i was crying in pain. when the contraction would start i would feel the cramps like nothing i ever felt. then of course is the birth, which feels like shitting out a pumpkin.

luckily my second baby was a c-section. no pain whatsoever. loved it.

what part hurts , i mean i asked my mom how it feels and she said that you can't feel the pain while your giving birth you can just feel movement down there , then she said that the thing that hurts the worse is the Contractions . i really want to have a baby but i honestly DON'T take pain good at all , So i really want a baby , but i am just terribly scared of what the pain is gonna feel like , and i also would want to have an epidural but then i scared of needles , so i am kinda torn , but in the end , it would be ALL WORTH IT !!! <3

The contractions ARE labor, childbirth is not labor.

25 years previous I delivered naturally my three wonderful triplet boys, and at the time I was in so much horrible pain I was begging my husband James to shoot me in the head with a .44 mag. But back then when they gave them to me I forgot about the pain and the wonderful boys I have. Cannot believe they are now 35 years olde. {Married at 20 and now 55}: They are still my wonderful gifts to me from my wonderful Saviour.

Oh now wow...This is a total fucking gem. I'm sorry, I just can't hold back.

So let me get this straight. You gave birth to 10yr old triplets a 25 years ago. Your husband has now changed names. James is now Peiter? Now (approx a half a year after the post I'm replying to) you have twin boys. I can't find the post where you mention twin granddaughters, then a month later it's changed to 3mth old babies, one of each gender. And your daughter in laws name changed, too.

      Your posts do fascinate me.

        Hello:

I have been fucking around of this site for two years. The information you are quoting from is a tad younger. To straighten you up jack shit. Peiter is my husband, James is my son, I married Peiter when I was 16, been happily married over 40 years, had my sons when I was 24, makes them 32, and 1 year after James wed he and his wife were expecting, he wed at 32.5. Twins yes.

So, you see you fucken Jack Shit you had everything wrong, now that Christmas is past, why don't you start planning on how drunk you are going to get for January 01, 2011.

Hope you get so plastered that you miss an entire weeks worth of employment. Me retired.

You have contradicted yourself all on the one page.

I honestly wouldn't care about obvious trolling, only you're just so damn nasty to people when you claim to be a Christian.

I'd feel sad for your attention seeking if you weren't behaving like a jerk.

And nothing you say to me upsets me, it amuses me.

Never gave birth but my mom described it to me as the skin on your arm being twisted, but a bit worse. She took the medicine, so she said the shot they gave her in her lower back felt worse.
