When work pisses me off...
My job really pisses me off sometimes, crazy right?
Anyway, on really bad days I flip customers off from behind the counter.
With the way the counter is set up, noone can see what I'm doing, so it's not like I'm being a TOTAL asshole.
I work for tips, so it helps to be friendly, and I always try to keep a smile on my face, but it's tough to fake it sometimes.
It actually lifts my spirits. I just think it's really funny to have a nice conversation with someone who doesn't know they're getting the middle finger from the person they're talking to.
It's probably immature, but I've gotten way more tips since I started doing it and people have commented on how nice and friendly I am while taking their orders and stuff. It's even improved my feelings towards work, so I'm not about to stop any time soon.
So, is that normal? Does anyone else do that or something like it?
