I don't care if you are 4 or 40, if you feel comfortable "spooning" your dad, there is nothing wrong with it and you should continue. I've lain with my kids at times (sick, watching a movie, whatever) and hugged them, or have had them hug me - and if anyone had have suggested it was in any way sexual I would probably lay have punched their lights out for being sick fucks.
I generally didn't spoon any of my girls after they hit puberty because to be perfectly blunt I didn't want anything being misinterpreted. Just like a woman's nipples can get hard if it's cold, sometimes a man gets an erection because the person they are "snuggled" with wriggles or whatever. Doesn't mean anything, but better to avoid the situation anyway.

That's a little strange hun, but at least he didn't do it to you. I would back off a little because I know you mean it in a harmless way, but it can turn into something weird, as nature intended us not to touch someone there unless your body intends more.
