hm... how about just a plain old, "NEVER"
it's not that I don't NEED to study
and it's not that I don't care about the test and don't try, it's just that I don't care to study.
I study whenever my brain is ready to absorb any revision. But hey, I'mma total procrastinator. So I must say.. Never or seldom.
lol at the huge amount at option 4. Before I only studied about a few days before the actual exam, and could get good results. Now it's like whatever I study for, it doesn't appear on the tests, so I get borderline results! :/
For my GCSEs (exams at age 16) I had about 15 exams in two weeks, crammed the lot (often two subjects in one night's study) and came away with straight As (10 of them). I unfortunately made the mistake of thinking I could do the same for my A-levels (exams at 18), but there is a big difference in the quantity of information between the two levels of exam and for my three A-level subjects I only got one A. The other two results were Cs (the lowest classified result you can get is E). One of my A-level Law exams was nearly disastrous, in fact, because I set out my files to start studying the night before, then promptly fell asleep and so missed my revision for that topic entirely. When I arrived at the exam hall I was so agitated I misspelt my own name, but an invigilating teacher noticed and took me out of the room for 15 minutes and gave me a cup of tea. Then I was allowed to rejoin the exam (having been watched while out to make sure I wasn't sneaking revision) and I managed to make a stab at the thing from memories of work in class. Not recommended.
By way of comparison, my more organised and disciplined sister studied assiduously, got all As at A-level and now has a doctorate from Cambridge.
i find taking copious notes and then as I enter the info into my laptop later i read it type it and say it out loud creating multiple neural pathways, making it a long term memory as quick as possible
I`m a total procrastinator. Even when I try to sit down and work, or bring my homework home, I never really study. The most i`ve been able to make myself do is skim through some old work quickly, the night (or morning) before the test
I'm so fucked for my maths exam next monday my revision over xmas started so well, then just after xmas I got bedridden with flu for an entire week up until NYD. so its cramming for a few days now but normally 2-3 weeks if its an important exam. Thought I'd share that story :)
I used to study for exams, got a B on average.
One day I forgot to study, and now I get all As! I don't know why studying makes me worse ... ?
I never really have to study for tests and usually get A's. But alot of my class mates study and get F's. I don't think the tests are hard, I think they're all just idiots.lol
