I don't think we have souls.
The things we call souls are just our normal functioning, what we become.
Our habits, likes and dislikes, and so on.
There is no logical reason for a soul anyways.
We have our lives, and that is all we need.
so there's no "no soul" option. that alone leads me to believe this is a biased poll.
I think we get souls when we're toddlers. For the smartest species we have some pretty dumb babies. It takes a while for them to adapt.
sorry but there is no such thing as a soul. any scientist can tell you that.
We have souls weather we believe in them or not. Weather our souls are fully functioning and awake is another matter. It depends on what our priorities are in this life and how we live life. So some may have souls that are asleep, because they've never developed spiritually and find that part of life unimportant of disinteresting. I was told many years ago that a soul enters the body at about 6 months during pregnancy. I'm very interesting in my own spirituality and and am aware of the difference between soul and mind; and there is a big difference.
I believe that our souls attach to the body about when we start to develop enough brain activity to suck our thumbs or stretch or something that at least requires a conscious thought.
I wish I was capable of magical thinking, and believing it. I'll just have to settle for movies like "Like Water For Chocolate"
I have my own little belief and theory thing with this, so I chose egg/sperm conception. I can't be bothered to note my whole theory (but it's just what I would like to believe XD)

As for my view on it, I don't know. My answer is bope.
Well it's really silly and really dumb cause there's of course not a shred of proof to support it but I like it.
I think that souls are floating around, like the wind is the souls of people who have passed and at the very moment a sperm and egg come into contact, a soul inhabits that fusion, like it goes into the fertilized egg. And then of course it grows into a baby etc. XD

the soul enters when the baby starts kicking during second or third trimester. sometimes if the babys foot or arm is causing a bulge on your tummy and rub it, the fetus will respond by kicking you lol
i can tell you when i LOST my soul...and that was when my childhood was over.
I doubt that the moment can be pinpointed exactly, but I think that consciousness develops as the physical brain grows, probably a few weeks after conception.
